Mastik partially takes on the form of a tigress. In this form, she is mostly humanoid, with longer hair (in one french braid) and some amount of striped skin concentrated around her forearms and feline-like pads on the surface of her palms and sharp claws at her finger tips. Mastik also appears to be garbed in a white tiger-skin 2-piece halter bikini with black tiger stripes while in this state. They also sport tigress ears, whiskers, a green choker that has a round bell on it, and a long tail, but otherwise retains her human features. She seems to take over this form to compliment their meager hand-to-hand combat capabilities.
Animal Soul: Bird
She turns into a green and white bird, with some human features. She has a beak for a nose and mouth, and tail, wings and talons. She has two brown and white feathers stuck between her right ear. Her hair is in a high ponytail that goes to her butt.

Rock Wall
Mastik manipulates the earth to form a wall, blocking incoming attacks. The wall comes in a variety of forms, ranging from simple pillars to traditional walls.

Mastik creates a number of earth spikes which erupt out of the ground and immobilize her opponent.

Rouge Vanica - With this transformation she has the ability to use 3 swords perfectly in combat, even a cursed one.

Personality
A very hyper 15 year old girl if you ask me! She's quite random and very talkative. Nowhere around the shy side of anything, usually up and asking new people about who they are and stuff. She likes to laugh and get people to smile, which Nina makes her mad since she never smiles. She has a cheerful personality, and is always in a good mood. Even though she's happy, she's really sad on the inside. You can tell if you look deep in her eyes, you can see the sad gloomy rain storm.
She always tries to find the positive side, even in bad situations which can get annoying because she doesn't want to face the truth sometimes. It's hard to make her snap, unlike Nina. She has a lot of tolerance for a lot of things, as long as you don't push it to far. She's great to be around, if you're a happy person that it. It seems like her hobby is putting smiles on people's faces. She's sweet, and nurturing, wanting to care for animals. She can also be very loud at times too.
When Mastik does reach her breaking point with people, and have no more tolerance, then you wouldn't want to be around her at all. When she's angry, really angry, she acts like Nina. Meaning: She's really scary. Not as scary as Nina, but still scary. Some people think it's quite funny, and sometimes describe her as a Teacup Chihuahua, because she can be quite hyper and "annoying" but when she's angry she's just small and seemingly can't do anything. Some people see her anger as funny, especially people who are bigger than her.
Mastik also seems to have these weird spells, usually happening when someone she cares about gets hurt. For example, Cobra might be getting in trouble if somebody found out she was abused. She would take a broken bottle up and slap them in the face with it, before going unconscious. Since she usually does something bad here, people try to protect her by lying about what really happened and keeping her safe. She doesn't even remember what happened when she wakes up.
She see's Nina as a mom, although she acts nothing like her. She also has humor, but when she's being funny she has trouble not laughing herself. She has pretty lame jokes sometimes, although she really does try hard. She never gives up no matter what, always pushing herself to do things, one of the only traits she seems to get from Nina. Mastik has kept her past a secret to even Nina. She knows if Nina knew Nina would seek revenge. No one knows about it, except Rouge, and what happened in it she doesn't even act near to what most people would act. I swear, most people would be closed up... depressed all the time... Always giving up... But no, Mastik was different, she is different, and she always will be.
Mastik was born on a sunny day, bright and very warm. Year X767, June 14, sign of the Taurus. They said she would be as bright and happy as the sun that day. Her Mom and Dad were very good people, well mainly Arira, Cobra was just good because Arira kept him stable. Arira wasn't home much because of her job (Being a plant expert.) But she was always there when Mastik needed her. With Cobra and her alone at the house, they had all this free time to themselves and had gotten a close bond together. But, that all changed when Arira died.
It was a month after her 5th birthday. These guys came with a coffin, Mastik didn't understand at her young age but Cobra did and he was horrified. He became different after that, not being his regular self. He started drinking a lot, becoming depressed and angry. Mastik tried to cheer him up but it didn't work. One day, she was trying to take away his drinks so he wouldn't get drunk, but he found her. He hit her, and started abusing her with his bare fists. She didn't know what happened and blacked out.
As the days went by, he beat her constantly, using anything in hand. She figured out she needed to clean off the blood that covered her with a shower. After, she would fix herself up the best she could with her mom's medical kit hidden under the bathroom sink. Her brain started reversing itself for reactions, you would usually flinch when they come in, but her brain automatically tells her not to flinch for he beats her if she acts scared. At about age 8 she learned to not act phased, and while she got beat have a smile on her face, hoping Cobra would see it and stop. He never did though, he was always to drunk to notice.
At her 9th birthday, she decided to go on a walk. It was her birthday, getting away from Cobra for awhile was a real treat, she thought she deserved it. She bumped into a horse, and thought she was pretty so started to pet her. A intimidating woman came out and stared at her, it was as if her stare was burning through her soul. "Who are you?" She asked seriously. "I'm Mastik Kaeru." She said steadily. "I am Ninavereal Crystalstar. What is your business, Mastik?" Mastik looked at her, "It's my birthday, and it's a beautiful day today so I decided I wanted to go outside for a treat. I wondered out of my village on accident, now I'm lost."
"Come." Nina said and they went in. Mastik said she didn't know her village's name on purpose, in fear of going back to Cobra. She loved him, but she still was a little afraid of him. Nina and her became close, and they became like daughter and mother. She wasn't the real mother, but Mastik saw her as it. Mastik wasn't replacing Arira, she just needed a figure that would always be there for her, and it happened to be Nina. Nina was a Ten Wizard Saint, and she would bring her to Era and let her look around certain areas, but of course she couldn't join meetings. She would teach her magic and everything. Then, everything changed.
At 11 years old, she had gone riding with MoonBeam (the horse) and was on her way back. MoonBeam's ears perked up and she randomly started running, almost knocking Mastik off. When she stopped, Mastik got off and ran in the house knowing something was wrong. She saw army guards, and slowly squeezed inbetween a few. She looked down and saw Nina dead. She gasped and covered her mouth with her hand, tears forming in her eyes. "Ohh... Nina.." A guard looked at her. "Do you know her?" Mastik nodded, "Yeah, a friend." She couldn't say mother or anything, they would take her away if they found out she had nowhere to go. She just pretended she was just visiting.
"How?" Mastik managed to say. "A bounty hunter killed her. I'm sorry." Mastik's tears covered her face. "Who did this? What bounty hunter?" He looked at her,"They haven't given us a name, sorry. I don't know. We're out looking for him though. Killing a Ten Wizard Saint is a big crime." Mastik clenched her fists, and her eyes showed a raging storm. "I will find him.. and I will kill him.. that's a promise..." She then left the scene. Taking MoonBeam with her, she decided to live off of Jewels that she got with jobs.
Making her way to a town, she got a job at a shop. 3 days after she had settled down into a old shack that used to be used for garden materials, MoonBeam disappeared. Mastik was sad, but had to keep going. As she lived, she got to a cottage, 1,000 Jewels a month. Little space, one room, but very cozy and nice. She liked it.
One day, she was walking in town and saw a boy sitting on a bench. He seemed lonely, so she decided to brighten his day. She bounced over to him (literally). "Hi! I'm Mastik, whats your name?" He looked at her, "Mm." He said. "Well Mm, wanna be friends?" She said moving closer. He just replied, "Mm." She looked up at the sky than at him. "We can play! Wanna play? What can we play.. We can play hopscotch, jump-rope, who let the dogs out, duck duck goose, tag, hide and seek.." She went on and on before nodding. "Or we can just hang out and talk. How are you? Oh! Lets get to know each other! Whats your favorite color? Do you like water? How tall are you, you seem pretty tall! How old are you? Would you like to time travel? Do you like cats? What about dogs? What do you like the most? What do you dislike the most?.." She went on and on.
He finally got up and started walking away, she bounced after him. "Hey wait, Mm where are you going?" Without looking at her he said with an annoyed tone, "Away from you." She stopped and became sad. "Oh.." She said and started walking away slowly and rather sadly. He stopped and turned, looking at her. "Wait.. Stay come on you can hang with me I guess. My name is really Rouge." She perked up, spinning around quickly, "Okay!" She ran up to him and they started walking. "So, want to be friends Rouge?" She asked. "Sure, why not." He said. From then on, they became friends. Close as Sister and Brother.
Not long after they became friends they joined FairyTail. She went there because it seemed fun, and also because Nina went there before she became a Ten Wizard Saint. She liked it there, made lots of friends. She didn't have to live on her own, it was fun. Rouge became S-Class quickly. She still has yet to reach that. Mastik's still to 'weak' (that's what it seems like anyways, she's not really weak. It just seems like it the way she acts and fights.)
