Who Wants To Talk?! (Rouge/Open)

[Mastik Kaeru]

Mastik was sitting in FairyTail looking around rather bored like. She was doing nothing, nobody was talking to her and the guild was rather calm right now. Nobody seemed to want to talk to her, or hang out, or whatever. Scanning the people in the room, she wondered who she could talk to. Maybe bounce over and start a conversation. Cana? Nahh, she was to busy drinking. Wait Cana was always drinking! Maybe she wouldn't mind! Or, maybe Natsu, he's fun to talk to. Gray, hmm, he seemed busy stripping. Mirajane!! She was busy cleaning the shelves, she didn't want to bother her in her working...

"I'm bored." She stated the obvious. "I wanna do something. Let's talk to someone!"

She burst out of her seat as an idea came across her mind. A light bulb going over her head and blinking on she smiled quite happily, congratulating her mind for the great idea. She then stepped on her chair and looked at everyone with a huge smile on her face. Opening her mouth to speak, she said:

"Hey Guys! Whoever wants to chat, hang out, dadadadada, come over here to me! It'll be fun! Don't get shy, I'm bored outta my mind so I'd love to have a nice chat!" She yelled quite excitedly.

Then she sat down, waiting for somebody to come over. While she was waiting, wondering who would come, she looked at her shoes. They started to look interesting to her, so she squinted at them, looking at them closely and quite determinedly. Trying to make out the details of her shoes, she looked at them with a silent stare.

"I'm watching you shoe..." She said, raising an eyebrow.

Rouge was taking a sip of his drink when he spotted Mastik stepping up onto her chair, he sat his drink down and leaned up resting his elbows on his knees as he listened. She wanted someone to come talk to her.. He would gladly come over there, he didn't really talk to the other guild mates even after over a year. He stood up in one swift motion, grabbing his drink while dong so and started making his over over to his sister. When he got to her she was staring at her shoe quite intensely. 'I'm watching you shoe...' she said to her shoes.. Rouge made the face he usually makes with Mastik. "Should I question that?" He asked as he sat down setting his drink on the table leaning back a bit. "Also, hey there."

Mastik quickly looked up as she heard a deep, raspy, familiar voice. She brightened up immediatly as she saw her brother in front of her. She should of known he would be the one that would come over. She was so happy now, now they could talk talk talk talk talk talk talk all day! She started vibrating in her seat as she bounced up and down quickly, waving quickly and had a big grin on her face.

"Rouge, Rouge, Rouge, Rouge, Rouge, Rouge, Rouuuuuuggeeee!!" She sang the last Rouge. "Whats up? How are you? I'm glad you came over! I've been bored outta my MIIINNND over here doing nothing There was no one to talk to, and it was so boring I was like "I'm bored" And I wanted to talk talk talk so I did my little speech on this awesome chair that's been warm ever since 5 minutes after I sat on it and I was waiting and waiting and waiting and looked at my shoe and it suddenly seemed really really interesting all of a sudden so I was like "I'm watching you shoe" because I was bored and the shoe looked really really suspicious I knew it was up to no good so I had to watch it I was on guard patrol and then you came over and oh no what if my shoe escaped and it's doing bad stuff I gotta check!!" She looked down at her Shoe. "Nope, it's still there. Still looking pretty suspicious but now you can help me watch it!!"

Rouge shook his head at Mastik and chuckled when she started talking about her shoe. They had been friends for three years or more so he was used to her weirdness. He nodded and spoke. "Yes i will help you watch your shoe, we can't let ot get away and terrorize the town." He looked up at her and crossed his arms. "By the way I'm fine, how are you?" He asked. He loved Mastik he really did she made his day brighter.

"Do you really think it would do that?" She asked with a rather confused look. "I mean, I didn't think it was that evil... WAIT! IT'S LOOKING EVEN MORE SUSPICOUS!! I think it does want to terrorize!! We gotta watch it carefully! Oh, and I'm doing fine. I'm almost over my boredom! Yay, happiness. Anyways, watcha up to brother? Heh? Huh? Hmm? Hemm? Humm? Heeuummm?" She kept making weird questioning noises. "This is way more fun then it would seem. Hermmmmmm!? Heurm! That ones fun. Fun fun fun! I like to have fun, do you like to have fun? Fun is great, fun is fun."

She suddenly stopped going wide-eyed.

Rouge shook his head and nodded. "We do have to watch it closely and yes Im having fun with you Mastik. I always have fun with you." He smirked and yawned. "I'm kinda tired though.. Didn't sllep much.. Speaking of how did you sleep?" He cocked his head to one side looking at her through his hair his blue eyes sparkling with the ghosts of his past.

She opened her mouth, tongue sticking out, then sneezed down on her shoes. She jerked back in her chair, almost falling over. Then she gurgled and raised her head, shaking it. Looking down at her shoes, she suddenly kind of felt bad. Her shoes didn't deserve her snot even if they were evil.

"Sorry shoes.. Anyways, you have fun with me? I give you the awesome feeling of fun?! Awesome!! I feel happier now. Oh, and I slept pretty good. Heehee, I had a dream I was eating Ice Cream. The minty chocolate chip kind, and I got the cone too! The cone is pretty tasty... I wish I could have that Ice Cream now.." She suddenly looked sad. "Now I'm hungry... for sweetness... for ice cream... for mit chocolate chip... with a cone..." She sighed, Oh! And also, in my dream, a hawk flew over and took my ice cream... what was left of it anyways. I was sad, then I woke up. I went to sleep after drinking some milk, and I had another dream of a milky land paradise! Everything was made out of sweets! Milk, and cookies, and frosting, and.. it was great. Ahhhm."

Rouge shook his head, he had to admit her sneeze was kinda cute. He listened to her talk about her dreams and nodded to let her know he was listening. "I'm sorry about your ice cream being taken by the hawk. why don't you ask Mira is she will get you some Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream?" He cocked his head a bot to the side like he does sometimes while asking an question "Oh and I didn't really dream.. i never do these days." He sighed.

Mastik was happy with Rouge nodding, he was listening and she knew it. She waited till he was done talking before talking himself. She nodded to it as he did with her, then smiled.

"That's a good idea! Mirrrraaaaaaa!!!" She shouted, then ran over to the counter. "Hi Mira! Can you get me chocolate chip ice cream on a cone? Please? Pretty please please please? Pretty please with a cherry on top! Oh, and chocolate and sprinkles and caramel! Please?!"

Mira looked at her for a minute then smiled gently. "Right on it Mastik." Then she walked away.

After a few minutes she came back with the wanted ice cream. Mastik looked at it with sparkles in her eyes. She started drooling as she took the ice cream.

"Thanks Mira. OH! It's double spooned!" She said as she saw the two scoops on the cone. "Thanks!!"

She ran back to Rouge and started licking it, it looked like she was torturing it as it started moving to the side about to fall off. She noticed and took a bite off of what was falling off, then made a face that showed pain.

"It froze my teeth!" She cried.

Rouge waited for Mastik to come back after she ran off to get her ice cream. He watched her as she ate it, when she said it froze her teeth after she bit it he smirked. "That's what you get for bit it Mastik..." He said quietly.
