Bind Snake: A spell that appears in the form of a snake tattoo. The snake winds its way around the target's body, tightening and restricting their movement
~~~
Dispelling: This Magic allows Delilah to remove any spell from their afflicted target
~~~
Doll-Play Magic: This Magic allows Delilah to take control of any object, including Celestial Spirits except for humans. Delilah can even cancel out the Celestial Spirit Mage's recall of the spirit since both the spirit and the user need to be in agreement for it to happen. However, a spirit's gate can still be force closed. When Delilah takes control of Celestial Spirits, it seems that she can only take control of their bodies, not their minds
Doll-Play Attack: Puppeteer: Delilah takes control of any object they desire, except for humans. This includes animals and Celestial Spirit.
Doll-Play Attack: Rock Doll: Delilah gathers a pile of rocks and forms it into a large golem-like creature. Delilah may utilize the golem for offensive purposes or mobility.
Doll Play Attack: Sand Doll: Sand gathers together and forms into a sand puppet, which Delilah can attack people with, hide in as shelter, or trap people in.
Doll-Play Attack: Wood Doll: Delilah takes control of a tree and animates it into a tree puppet, which she can use to attack their target with. Different types of trees create alternative variations of this spell
~~~
High Speed: High Speed is a type of Caster Magic that allows the caster to move at extremely high speeds. However, despite the Magic's speed-increasing properties, it apparently cannot defend against any Magic used to intentionally slow the caster down. When used in combat, High Speed can be very efficient; the increase in speed makes it so that melee attacks that would normally be considered weak become very effective
Cheetah’s Strike: Using high speed she runs at the enemy, and a few feet in front she bends down her head aimed for either the opponent’s chest or stomach. This hit has enough power to send the opponent flying a few feet.
Eagle’s Wing: Delilah runs at the target with high speed, once right in front of them she puts one foot out and spins behind them back facing back. Then she hits there spine with a powerful attack from the elbow. Depending on the strength of your bones, it could possibly break a bone in your back.
~~~
Memory Control: This Magic allows its users to add their existence to other people's memories. However, it works the same as Charm, if the targets find out about the truth, the Magic will wear off. It is very powerful as it can even fool S-Class Mages.
~~~
Sleep Magic: Sleep Magic is a Magic that gives the caster the ability to induce sleep on single or multiple targets. It may be accomplished through the flick of the casters' bare hand or an item.
Sleeper Toy: Delilah puts sleep magic on a certain object and whoever picks it up will fall asleep as soon as they touch it. This works well when she wants to put someone to sleep and knows what they’ll touch and when.
~~~
Holder: Sword Magic: Twin Katana (Mainly): A Magic which, as the name itself suggests is focused around the use of swords, with those weapons acting as mediums for the user to perform particular attacks. Many of such moves are shown capable of going past the physical reach of the blade employed in their use, threatening foes at short-to-mid range. Some Sword Magic techniques seem to involve the use of elements commonly found employed by elemental forms of Magic, such as Fire Magic; in addition, Telekinesis is shown to be frequently employed alongside it, in order for the user to maneuver several swords at the same time; however Delilah does not study or use Telekinesis. A number of different blades can be employed for such Magic, with the most recurring ones being long swords and katana, in Delilah’s case usually Katana. In some cases, certain moves might even involve the change of the sword's properties, such as its length
Backward Defiance: Delilah runs up a tree/wall/rock/etc and when she gets 7-10 feet high she kicks off, doing repeatedly backward flips until she lands behind whoever is at the base of the tree hoping to get who was hoping to get her (attack her, following her, etc). Landing behind them she spins her katana’s once in her hands with her fingers and thrusts her katana’s into their back.
Finishing Strike: When an enemy is on the ground, if she finds the need to kill them, she will run and jump. Pointing both katana’s downward at the heart, she brings it down and pierces them, making sure to have killed them by digging them in.
Knee Cutter: Delilah runs at the opponent and when she gets there she bends down, still running, and slashes at their knees.
Round House: Delilah puts both katana out and puts one foot down and the other out, then she uses the foot that’s out to spin her around. Whoever comes close gets cut by the blades being swung around in a circle. This combined with High Speed is super effective and she can spin around many times.
Upward Thrust:Delilah goes down on one knee and acts hurt, both katana’s down beside her. When somebody comes up she jumps up quickly, thrusting her katana’s upward usually upon their shoulders.
Blades of Fury:Delilah runs at the target as she spins her katana’s with her fingers and when she gets there she does an on series of random slashes diagonally, horizontally, and vertically. After slashing about 25 times she finishes by slashing there stomach as she rushes by them. This is very effective when mixed with high speed magic.
~~~
Teleportation:This Magic allows the user to cover very large distances in the blink of an eye. It makes for an extremely fast and effective means of transportation, and can also be used in combat when the situation requires fast actions.
~~~
Thought Projection: A type of Magic which allows its user to create a psychic copy of his or her body. This Magic can work even over great distances, allowing the user to essentially be in two places at once. While some Thought Projections are intangible like holograms, used merely for communication, Delilah is able to create a particularly powerful Thought Projection that can physically interact with people and objects, even though it lacks physical form. The creation and maintenance of this alter-ego is very taxing, essentially halving Delilah’s overall Magical power; however, once the Thought Projection reunites with the body, the Magical power returns to normal.
~~~
Transformation:Transformation allows Delilah to change her appearance, while this Magic is a deep and complex art. Basic Transformation Magic is relatively easy for Mages to learn. High-level Mages, such as Delilah, are capable of performing this Magic easily in all of its levels.
Basic Level:This level allows a Delilah to change her outward appearance into that of another person. However, it doesn't allow Delilah to change clothes. The more a Mage knows about this level, the easier it is to perform.|
Intermediate Level: Aside from its similarities to the basic level, this level of transformation is used by Mages to change their clothes and voice. The changing of clothes is different when compared to Requip.
Advanced Level:Apart from changing appearance and voice, the Caster can acquire all additional physical features such as wings or gills, and can even change size. According to Delilah, this level is very useful in combat. This bears a resemblance to Animal Soul Takeover, but is different.
Things You Can't See
- Delilah has a scare going down her forearm where she was cut with a knife by Victoria.
- Delilah has 103 burned onto the left side of her neck from Titan.
- Delilah has burns mark on the bottom and top of her main, middle and ring fingers on her right hand going from the tips to the knuckles when she was trying to handle the fire at the Theater.
At first glance, Delilah seems to be quite nice and caring. She loves all living things, whether it’s the animals, nature, or people. She likes to see smiles on faces, and one of her dreams is to make the world a happy one. If somebody is down or in a bad mood, she does all kinds of things to make them smile and laugh, and she has many ways to do this. She’s not easily embarrassed, or she wouldn’t do some things she does, in fact if somebody happened to pull her dress up and show her underwear she wouldn’t be embarrassed at all, although a little angry. She doesn’t easily get intimidated, although when facing a large, bulky person she might feel a little small and weak. She is very patient, and used to waiting around for things to come.
She can become easily frustrated, showing when somebody doesn’t do the right thing (or what she told them to do). She also seems to have a high tolerance level, although some things that do bother her greatly and can make her quite angry in a second. She is a very organized person, and does not like things being out of place. Although she does not obsess over organization, if something is out of place it does bother her, and some things has to be perfect. She is can be quite easily angered when somebody messes up in a play, as she likes it to be just right. Delilah has quite a high IQ level, the state of it being around 210-230, surprising many people with her slightly clueless nature. She is very easily entertained, and can easily be cheered up by the simplest things.
She laughs a lot and clearly states, “I love those moods you get into when everything seems so funny!” She absolutely loves having fun, and even at her age she likes to go to the park. Delilah can also come off as childish to some people, with the way she acts and stuff she does at times, but is actually a very mature young girl. She has a very big soft spot for children it seems, giving them lollipops when they do something good, and naturally a lot of kids like her. Delilah is very formal around people, especially higher ranks. Charlotte had taught her to speak with manners, and she ends up saying –San, -Sama, -Dono, -Kun, -Chan, -Bozu, -Sempai, -Kohai, and –Sensei at the end of people’s name (whichever rank they fit into) for respect. She also bows before people who she sees as –Sama and –Dono.
She has a locket around her neck that she treasures very dearly. It opens up and has a small picture of her family, and she is really protective over it. Losing it is terrible, and somebody touching it is a ‘sin’ to her, it seems. Delilah can be pleased quite easily as well, she especially loves lilies (favorite flowers, especially white), fantasy books, breakfast in bed (when sick), role-plays (from her acting), singing (period), sweet things (especially caramel), coconuts (the milk too), shrimp, milk, and high-pitched boys. What she dislikes is mostly grapes, sleeping late, roses (surprisingly, because the thorns), questions she can’t answer, not knowing something, personal problems (talking about them), cigarettes, geese, spicy things, sour things, ham, and soda’s. Delilah also has a fasicnation with Frying Pans and often claims that it's her "Secret Weapon" and she also seems to be very skilled with fighting with it.
She can be angered easily by clumsiness, carelessness, and disrespect. Delilah is also a very good scolder, giving long and good lectures with a lot of meaning, it lasting up to an hour long at the most. She can be quite scary when giving lectures, as she has a way with glaring and pointing and sometimes even backing people to a wall. However, she does not yell but instead says it calmly, but a hint of anger in her voice. Delilah can tear into people quite easily, scaring them for eternity. Her favorite line while scolding someone is “I’m watching you, so you better be careful.” Having a very icy glare when angered, it usually gives off a scary sensation. She also has a way with words, and easily finds ways into people’s hearts.
She is a very big battle expert, however when she sees her own blood she starts to freak out and goes on a rampage in a state of unconsciousness it seems. It doesn’t matter how much blood it is, as long as it’s her blood she rampages. When in this state, she is nothing like herself, going in what seems an ‘I’m gonna kill you and everyone here!’ stage, even if it’s her friends (sadly). When done with her rampage, she falls over completely unconscious, remembering nothing of what happened or what she did when she awakens. When touched, Delilah blushes and/or puts her hand up to her heart in a loose fist. When upset, or hurt she cries and puts both hands up to her heart in a firm grip, one hand over the other (usually the right over the left). Her favorite line is “No matter what, I’ll always remember who I love!”
However, despite her cheerful, sweet personality she has a rather sad past that nobody really knows about. Inside she is quite torn up, and hides this by wearing a convincing mask. Even the closest of people she has trouble telling, for she is not one to easily come out with things such as her life. Not many people really think she’s had a bad history, but there are some times you can tell quite easily. Find her in her room crying, holding her locket with sad eyes, or just thinking to herself with a gloomy face. It’s not easy to forget someone like Delilah all in all, whether it’s because you’re afraid of her or because she had your heart.
History: Start
I’m gonna start at where she is at the Theater, and go back in the pasts and as each past is revealed I will head to the present here (on her way to FairyTail).
Scene 1: The Backstage
“So, you’re here for a check on how the Theater is doing, correct?” The stern, mature, serious voice that rang out across the back-stage said. “Yes Mrs. Charlotte, I’m the new inspector here. I know you’re used to Mr. Ronald, but he quit and I, Oliver, had to take his place. But I assure you, I’m a great inspector as well!” The loud, excited, and immature voice replied, which rang out even louder through the back-stage then Charlotte’s. “Alright then, Oliver-San, let us begin.” Charlotte said as she walked out of the curtain and into the back-stage fully. Oliver’s mouth dropped open as he saw everybody practicing. “Wow! They’re so good, is this your handy work Mrs. Charlotte?” Oliver asked quite surprised and very excitedly.
Charlotte closed her eyes; she seemed pleased with herself as she made a chuckle. “Yes, people have said to me before I am a great trainer. But still, there are many people out there who are much better than me. Do remember that, Oliver-San.” Oliver nodded, “I’ve never seen someone train anybody as good as your students though! I’m amazed, this is a master piece! I would love to go to one of your plays someday.” He said, hoping to hear something good from Charlotte. “Oh please, this is nothing Oliver-San, they’re just fooling around. Can’t you tell? Watch how they move, how they talk, how they act. This is nothing compared to what they can really do, trust me Oliver-San.”
Oliver’s mouth opened as his eye twitched, “Wow! Are you serious? How about you introduce me to all your players?” Charlotte eyed him for a minute, making him shrink down to his knees, before nodding. He jumped up and smiled, Charlotte motioned for him to come. “After you meet everyone, you shall look around the stadium and tell me how everything is.” Said Charlotte sternly, and Oliver nodded in agreement. Charlotte started introducing all of them, starting with Rose. “This is Rose-Kohai, Rosalinda Santiago is her full name. She’s not really in the play much, for she’s usually the one helping people getting ready for it. She is very reliable and trustworthy.”
Oliver nodded as Rose waved and went back to working on a fake sword. Charlotte moved onto a little girl, “This is Shurika-Bozu, Shurika Anjey, only 9 years old, yet still has great talent. She can easily understand what’s going on in a play, and doesn’t have trouble acting things out. Very useful when we need a child in play.” Charlotte said as she ruffled Shurika’s hair. Shurika giggled at it and watched them walk away. Oliver followed Charlotte to Paris, “This is young Paris-Kohai, Paris Hilton, a great actor however her singing doesn’t usually please me.” Paris scowled at her, “Thanks a lot Charlotte! You don’t have to be so blunt about it!” She said rudely and walked away with a fancy strut. “She also has a big attitude, as you can see.” Charlotte nodded for Oliver to follow her once again.
Delilah blinked as she looked behind the curtain she was hiding behind, “Looks like another inspector is here Grace-Sempai.” She said quietly, “and Charlotte-Sensei is showing him around.” Grace Hemphill peeked out of the curtains too, “Oh don’t worry, just do what you always do when you introduce yourself. ‘My name is Delilah-Chan! REMEMBER IT!!!’” She said all fierce like then laughed. Delilah looked at her with pursed lips, “I do not do it like that Grace-Sempai! I’m more of, ‘My name’s Delilah-Chan. It’s nice to meet you kind sir.” She said sweetly. “Oh stop acting nice, we’re not in the play yet Delilah.” Grace said and laughed again. “Grace-Sempai…….” Delilah said before looking out the curtains again. “Stop calling me –Sempai! I’m not the star in this theater! I would be underclassmen to you, if I spoke like you, you would be –Sempai! So just call me –Kohai! Oh and hey, I’m just picking! Don’t get all sensitive!” Said Grace, seemingly frustrated.
“Yes, but you’re Charlotte-Sensei’s daughter, so you’re a higher level than me after all.” They both went quiet and then Delilah jumped around with her hands out yelling: “BOO!!!!” Grace jumped 5 feet in the air, and then she pursed her own lips. “Haha, you should have seen that coming Grace-Sempai!” Delilah laughed. Grace smiled and started laughing too. “You’re so much fun to hang around Delilah; I swear you can always make me laugh.” Grace said smiling happily. “You do the same to me. Heh, I’m glad you’re my friend. I’m glad Angel-Sama led me here…” She said quietly as she closed her eyes. Grace popped up in her face and Delilah jumped when she opened her eyes, “Hey!” Delilah cried. “I wasn’t trying to scare you, I was just wondering who Angel was. I’ve heard you say the name before, but you never really told me about her. Is she a friend of yours?”
“Oh, Angel-Sama. She’s a wolf; I got raised by her from 5 to 9 years old. She taught me the ways of nature, and how to fight… she was a good parent.” Delilah sighed and Grace seemed dumb-struck. “Wait, so you’re saying you were rai-“ “DELILAH-Kohai!!! GRACE-Kohai!!!” They both jumped at the sound of Charlotte yelling their names. “I’m sure all she wants is to see us.” Grace said quite nervously. “Y-yeah, probably to meet the new inspector...” Delilah agreed, but she was quite worried herself. Delilah nodded for Grace to go but Grace shook her head. Grace pointed outside the curtain but Delilah shook her head. They argued with body language for a while before Charlotte yelled for them again. Then Delilah pushed her out, Grace stumbled but caught herself. She glared back at Delilah while Delilah had a grin on her face. Grace looked back at Charlotte who looked quite impatient. Grace quickly made a dive in the curtains, grabbed Delilah’s hand, and ran towards Charlotte.
“You was supposed to go see what she wanted!” Delilah murmured to her, her feet dragging the floor, eying Grace a little angrily. “I’m not facing her alone! I’m just as afraid of her as you are, and she’s my mother! I bet you haven’t seen her boiling with rage before! It’s scary, believe me!” Grave said shakily as she stopped in front of Charlotte. Delilah pulled on Grace’s arm to get her back on her feet, and Grace smiled. “Yes Charlotte-Sensei?” Delilah spoke first with a steady tone. “It’s about time you showed up here. Where were you?” Charlotte asked eyebrows rose. Both of them opened their mouth to speak but Charlotte shook her head, “Never mind that. This is Oliver-San. He’s in the inspector we have today, introduce yourself correctly now.” Charlotte looked at Grace mostly, Grace looked at her shocked. “Mother! I-“ “My name’s Delilah-Chan. It’s nice to meet you kind sir.” Delilah interrupted to save Grace. Grace understood, and introduced herself too. “Hi, I’m Grace.” Charlotte looked down with her hand to her head, “Oh Grace-Kohai…” Grace sighed.
“It’s quite alright Ms. Charlotte!” Oliver said quite happily. “I’m so pleased to meet you, Grace and Delilah.” Grace smiled, “He said my name first…” She whispered to Delilah and Delilah rolled her eyes. “Delilah-Kohai is the star actress of this theater. She has the most wonderful singing voice, and she plays out parts so well! She takes things seriously, very focused and helpful. She is quite useful in putting people to work, she has a way with words and I don’t even know how she gets people to work.” Delilah smiled big, and Oliver nodded. “Grace-Kohai is my daughter…” She sighed as if at a loss for words. “Well… say something!” Grace said desperately. She hated silence. “I just don’t know about her sometimes. But still, she is an amazing actor, however she has a problem with hitting high notes and keeping the tune right when she's singing.” Grace smiled nervously.
“I would love to hear Delilah sing, can she now?” Delilah looked at him seriously. “I don’t see why not, Delilah-Kohai why don’t you sing for us?” Charlotte agrees with Oliver. “Yes Charlotte-Sensei! Here I go!” She breathed deeply, focusing and calming herself. She opened her mouth and, “When You Need Somebody, Somebody, Anybody For Help. Just Call Me Up, And I'll Be On Your Side. No Worries, You're Not Bothering Me. Because Friends Are There For Friends. Heyyyyyy, Listen Up, I Have A Message. Heyyyyyy, I'm Here For You, I've Got Your Back! No Matter What Mood You're In, I'll Be Right Here, By Your Side! Don't Hesitate, Because We're Friends. I'll Do Anything For You!” “When Everything's A Mess, And Nothing's Going Right. Just Call Me Up, And I'll Be There For You!” Everybody had stopped to listen already.
“Don't Worry At All, I'm Not Being Bothered. Because, Hey Look Here Now, Friends Are There For Friends! Heyyyyyy, Listen Up, I Have A Message. Heyyyyyy, I'm Here For You, I've Got Your Back! No Matter What Mood You're In, I'll Be Right Here, By Your Side! Don't Hesitate, Because We're Friends. I'll Do Anything For You! Right There, Beside, You Now. I will, Be There, For You. I'm Not Leading, I'm Not Following, I'm Staying By Your Side! Cause That's What Friends Are For! Heyyyyyy, Listen Up, I Have A Message. Heyyyyyy, I'm Here For You, I've Got Your Back! No Matter What Mood You're In, I'll Be Right Here, By Your Side! Don't Hesitate, Because We're Friends. I'll Do Anything For You! Anything, Anything, I'll Do Anything For You. Anything, Anything, I'll Do Anything For You.” She stopped and smiled, looking at the shocked face of Oliver.
“Best voice I have ever heard!” Oliver says quite happily. Delilah blushed and Grace smiled at her. “Thank you Delilah-Kohai. Now I’m going to show Oliver-San around.” Charlotte said, when Oliver had turned around she looked back and winked. “You were so good!” Grace squealed when they had left the back-stage. “You really think so?” Delilah asked excitedly, had Grace just complimented her? “Dear Delilah, Of Course you Did Good. You're The Star Of All Our Plays, How Could You Think Not? Your Voice Is Beautiful. I May Be A Little Jealous, But It's All For The Best! The Birds Stop To Hear Your Voice, Everybody Stops To Gaze.”
“Others Voices Can Not Compare To Your Own, I Would Love To Have One As Good As Yours! It's So Beautiful The World Should Know About it. How About We Show The World Someday? I'm Lucky To Be Your Best Friend. Don't You See Your Brilliant Glow? You Truly Are A Star! A Star Like You Shall Shine Bright In The Sky Someday! Don't You Agree? I'll Gaze Right Upon It Every Night Before I Go To Bed. The Birds Stop To Hear Your Voice, Everybody Stops To Gaze. Others Voices Can Not Compare To Your Own. I Would Love To Have One As Good As Yours! It's So Beautiful The World Should Know About it. How About We Show The World Someday?”
Delilah smiled, “I think your voice is much prettier than mine.” She says truthfully. “Nah, I can’t hit the high notes right. Plus, the lyrics always sound weird, usually they don’t fit together.” Grace sighed hopelessly. “It’s okay, I think it’s perfect! It’ll always be perfect to me.” Grace looked at her then smiled. “Thanks Delilah. So, can you tell me about Angel?” Delilah looked down sadly; opening her mouth to speak a loud voice announced their inspection being accepted as clear. All the players cheered. Charlotte came in and smiled at Delilah. “He loved Delilah’s voice so much, I guess he didn’t want to close down the theater. I’m sure he wasn’t to happy with the mess that SOME people haven’t cleaned up.” She eyed Rose who looked down. “But all that matters are we passed; now we have a play tomorrow afternoon. Get ready.” She then walked away. “Let’s help clean up first.” Delilah said, Grace scowled as she realized Delilah was changing the subject. “Like always..” Grace murmured before help Delilah pick up play swords, used fabric, scraps of metal, etc.
When they was done Delilah ran to her room and took a picture under a pillow. Looking at the White Wolf, which wasn’t Angel but a regular white wolf, it was close enough to remember Angel by. “Angel-Sama…” Whispered Delilah sadly, as she brushed her hand on the picture hoping she could feel fur. She heard the door open and Grace trying to creep in. “You need to work on your stealth Grace-Sempai.” Grace stopped in her tracks before laughing low and nervously, rubbing the back of her neck. “Yeah…” Grace looked at her, seeing the sadness she went over and sat on her bad next to her. “I think it’s time you tell me, who exactly this wolf is.” She said seriously, “Why do you call her –Sama, is what I wanted to know first off.” Grace said demandingly. “She raised me…” Delilah said sadly. “A wolf raised you?” Grace asked eyebrows rose. “Yeah, believe it or not, it’s the truth..”
Scene 2: The Snowy Forest
“Mommy?” Delilah, 4 years old, asked excitedly. She poked her head out, she had heard a sound. When her hound was out, she found herself staring face to face with a pure white wolf with blue eyes. Her fur was so soft, she shined like a pearl. The wolf was so brilliant, so angel like. She blew air out of her nose, fog rising from the cold air, and put her front paws back on the ground. Delilah squirmed out while the wolf started walking away, falling in the soft snow. When she got up, only her upper half (from her hips) was showing. Delilah shivered and ran after the wolf, trying to get through the snow. The wolf’s ears perked up, and she turned around quickly when Delilah was a feet few behind her. Her ears went down and she growled, as if saying ‘Go away!’
Delilah’s eyes filled with tears and she started backing away. The brilliant wolf’s ears stood up as she saw Delilah’s sadness, and slowly went over to her. She rubbed her body against Delilah’s stomach as in saying ‘Sorry’. Then, there was fierce barking, the blood hounds were returning. Her ears perked up and she looked around quickly, eying a long distance Delilah jumped on her back and the wolf ran. She was fast, and when they stopped she pushed her off by rotating her body quickly. Delilah fell in the snow face first, and came up looking at the wolf who was glaring at her. Delilah began to cry, and the wolf’s eyes turned soft and she went over and nudged her face. Delilah looked up and petted her; the wolf then forced her on her back and ran off.
Arriving at a cave, the wolf nodded downward. Delilah got on her hands and knees and the wolf showed her meat. Delilah tried it, but spit it out because it was raw. The wolf looked at her and ate some of the meat, then sat down and watched her. After quite some time, the wolf stood up and went over to her. She started heaving and regurgitated some meat, it looked like throw up (which it basically was) but Delilah didn’t care. She was starving. She grabbed a handful and chewed on it, it wasn’t that bad actually. It was better than the raw meat, but mostly because she had trouble chewing that. “Thanks Angel.” She said, deciding that’s what her name would be. From then on, Angel took care of her. She got her food, and protected her from enemies. Angel one day, decided to teach her how to get food on her own.
It was spring, everything was bursting into bloom. Angel and Delilah were starting to leave the cave more. Angel led Delilah to a large berry bush, Delilah picked some and tried them, and they were delicious! She ate some before Angel growled, so she wouldn’t eat them all. Delilah then followed Angel again, and they went to a tree hole. Angel peered inside and took an egg, putting it on the ground she bit a hole in it and started sucking whatever was inside in and eating it. Angel looked at Delilah, Delilah took one and did the same, it wasn’t that bad like the regurgitated meat, which she had stopped getting at age 7 (now) and was getting raw meat now. Angel led her around as they walked around the forest, and they found a river. Angel caught a few fish and gave one to Delilah. Delilah looked at the dead fish and took a bite out of it. It was better than nothing, so she would eat it. Angel lead them back to their den and that was the end of that day.
One day, 8 years old, an out-cast wolf came into the den. He looked at Delilah and licked his lips, Angel head-butted him and started attacking him, trying to reach his neck. He struggled to get up, for he was an old wolf. Angel soon ripped the flesh off the wolf’s neck, killing it. Delilah looked at them, Angel sniffing him she started eating him. When Delilah went over to eat too, Angel growled in warning. Delilah didn’t know what it was, but Angel looked at her. Delilah pointed to the meat and Angel shook her head, it wasn’t good for Delilah to eat. So she went over and started eating eggs, and some meat from a deer Angel had gotten. Delilah was thankful Angel was there, because Angel had protected her. Angel howled at the moon that night, and looked at Delilah. Delilah went over and howled with her, and she had fun with it too.
9 years old, they were out hunting. Angel was sniffing the ground cautiously, and her head rose up quickly, ears up, eyes scanning. Delilah looked around too, and then saw people in the distance. Angel growled as the men spotted them. They started towards them and Angel nodded back for Delilah. Go. Delilah shook her head, no. She wanted to help, surely she could. A hunter went to go to Delilah, and one was getting close to Angel. Angel looked back, glaring at Delilah she put her ears back and growled, showing her teeth threateningly. She started walking towards her, as if going to attack. Delilah was shocked, stood frozen in place for a minute. Then she closed her mouth with a frown, her eyes showed anger, and she shook her head slowly. What she meant was, “I was wrong about you.” And she ran away, on two feet, she didn’t want to follow in Angel’s footsteps any longer.
Angel watched her disappear sadly, before turning back to the hunters. She attacked one going around her. Delilah in the distance was having trouble running on two feet, and she heard a gunshot not too far off. She looked back, a flock of birds scattering in the distance. Delilah’s eyes filled with tears, now she understood. Angel was protecting her. “ANNNNNNNGEEEEELLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” She went to fall and cry on the ground but saw the hunter coming at her. Running, she stepped on a bear trap. A ‘click’ sound, and it latched onto her foot. Screaming in pain she fell over, trying to get it off. The hunter’s caught up to her, took it off and put her in another (there was another one) bag. Then they left the Forest, and she was never going to see her home again.
Scene 3: The Bedroom
“Angel-Sama was… just…” Delilah closed her eyes trying to hold back tears. “She was everything to you.” Grace finished. “I don’t know what it’s like to lose someone really. I can only imagine your pain.” Delilah nodded as Grace pulled her in for a hug. “But, she watches over me…” Grace cocked her head questioningly. “Oh, I didn’t explain that…” Delilah said as she sighed, “Every now and then, I see her spirit. A white wispy, angelic glowing aura appears shaped as a wolf. She usually ends up helping me in the end, making me follow her or pushing me onward. Thanks to her, I got here. Like I said before, I’m glad Angel-Sama led me here.” Delilah said smiling a bit. Grace nodded, “I see. It’s still hard to believe someone like you was raised by a wolf. You act perfectly normal, like a real human. Do you walk on all fours, howl at the moon, or anything? Do you still have some of that animal instinct in you?”
Delilah thought for a minute, “Not really… I growl when I’m trying to back someone off sometimes, or when somebody barks or meows I growl playfully. But beside that, I really have no need for it anymore, so never use it. I guess it would kick in again if I went back in the wild. It would probably help me survive. But, that’s all that I can think of where it would kick in. I wonder if Angel-Sama’s proud of me right now or if she’s mad at me for not acting like her…” She said leaning on Grace’s shoulders. “I’m sure she’s proud of you for progressing so far in life.” Grace said, Delilah looked up at her. That kind smile made her smile. “You’re right…” Delilah said looking down at the ground with a soft smile. “Thanks Grace-Sempai… you make everything better.” Grace looked up at the ceiling, “I wouldn’t say everything.” She replied back.
Delilah started singing, “Grace, Grace, Grace. Thanks For Being By My Side. I Don’t Know What I Would Be, If You Hadn’t Shown Up And Become My Best Friend. You Changed Me From My Bad Side To My Good Side. A Friend Like You Deserves Much More Than I Can Give.” They both sang together, “And We’ll Stay, The Best, Of Friends. Through Thick And Thin, We’ll Be Side By Side. That Will Never Change In Any Way. Cause We Are The Best Of Friends. That Kind Of Bond Can Not Be Broken. Forever Friends.” Then it was Grace’s turn, “Delilah, Delilah, Delilah. We’re Side By Side No Matter What, I’m Not The Only One There. You’ve Had My Back As Well As I’ve Had Yours, Something I Can Not Hide. Your Presence By Me Is All I Could Ever Need.” They both started again, “And We’ll Stay, The Best, Of Friends. Through Thick And Thin, We’ll Be Side By Side. That Will Never Change In Any Way. Cause We Are The Best Of Friends. That Kind Of Bond Can Not Be Broken. Forever Friends.” Then they both sang different lines, “I Need You.” “You Need Me.” “You Need Me.” “I Need You.” “Side By Side” “No Matter What.” “My Forever Friend.” They carried out the friend (Delilah a few seconds longer than Grace’s) and finished. They finally hugged each other, smiling.
The door burst open and Paris stood there. “Well, well, well! There you guys are! I’ve been looking all over for you! Is this where you’ve been this whole time?” She said angrily. “What do you want Paris?” Grace asked rather annoyed like. “Don’t get smartass with me!” Grace went to argue but she put a finger out, “Shush! I’m speaking! Ugh, now I forgot what I was supposed to tell you… and it’s your entire fault.” She glared at Grace, Grace looked down. “Hey! You need to shut up! Don’t talk to my friend like that! And stop telling us what to do!” Delilah yelled, defending Grace, who just looked up at her. “You can’t order me around!” Paris argued. “Oh yes I can, look where the heck you are. This is my turf, so I would suggest you just get out of here!” Paris suddenly realized she was Delilah’s bedroom. “I was wondering why it looked so trashy in here.” Paris sighed. Grace jumped off the bed and pointed to her, “It’s cleaner than your room Paris, actually it’s the cleanest room I’ve ever seen! It’s organized, and kept clean.” Grace defended Delilah. “If you keep talking like that I’m gonna tell Charlotte!” Paris said, smirking. Grace sat back down and shut up, she didn’t want to get scolded.
“Stop it Paris-Kohai!” Delilah yelled angrily, fists clenched. “You’re not scary Delilah, even though you think you are. Don’t call me –Kohai either! Even though you don’t think so, I’m an upper-class than you! I should be known as –Sempai! You think you’re all that. Everybody’s so proud of you. You may think you’re talented but you’re not! I should be the star of the show, I’m a lot better than you could ever be! Get out of this theater, you don’t belong!!” Delilah’s face went red, and then she went wide-eyed. “Not again…” She whispered in a scared voice. Grace looked at her, she didn’t understand. “Not again what?” She asked. “Delilah? Talk to me!” She cried trying to get Delilah to talk to her, she was worried. “Paris what the heck did you just do to Delilah?!” She got up and mad her way over to her. “I-I don’t know! Don’t look at me! I’m just saying the truth!” She said backing up. “You shouldn’t have said that! Jealous little brat!”
Scene 4: The Kitchen
“You wanted to meet me here Victoria?” Delilah asked, turning towards Victoria when she entered the kitchen behind her. Victoria nodded, “Yes, it’s very important. I can’t let it wait!” She said seriously. “What is it? Is somebody in trouble? Is London in trouble? Do you need me to do something?” Delilah asked many questions before Victoria held up a finger in a “Shh” kind of way. “It’s easy. I just want you to see the birdy out the window. It looks really cool, it has rainbow feathers and I wanted to know if it was a special kind of bird. It might be gone by now, but I just wanted to see if you could see it.” She said, Delilah looked out the window and the sun blinded her. “Owwwwhhh!” Delilah rubbed her eyes,
“I’m afraid it’s impossible to see with the sun in my wa—“ She felt pain on her arm and yelled in pain. Falling on the ground her hand felt liquid. She knew it wasn’t water, or soda, it was… she slowly looked down and saw red blood. Looking at her arm she saw she had been cut open, and Victoria stood there with a knife in her hand. She started breathing hard and started whispering to herself. “Blood… its blood… m-my blood…” She said going wide-eyed, then she screamed. Falling down, she caught herself with her arms propping her up. Her eyes opened slightly and she jumped up. Victoria went to stab her but she grabbed her arm and twisted it, Victoria let the knife go and there was a loud CRACK before Delilah released. Victoria fell to the floor cradling her broken arm screaming.
Delilah bent down and took the knife; bending down to reach eye level with Victoria she stabbed her in the shoulder. Then she reached her back, her arm, her chest, her stomach, her foot and thigh, blood flew everywhere finally right in her forehead. She fell over with the knife stuck in her and Delilah fell over, her eyes closing fully after seeing a white glow, and she became fully unconscious. When she finally opened her eyes, she was in a box, in an alley, by herself, blood stains on her clothes, and deep cut on her arm. She remembered nothing.
Scene 5: The Proscenium
Delilah came back to her senses, right when Grace had a good range at Paris’s face to punch. Delilah walked over with a dark face, grabbed her raised hand, and walked out. Paris watched them and shook her head, strutting away like nothing had happened, like she wasn’t scared. Delilah led Grace through the back stage, through the curtains separating the backstage and front stage, onto the front stage and into the seats. Sitting down in a chair at the back corner she let go of Grace and sighed. “What’s wrong?” Grace asked, sitting down next to her. “Memories…” Delilah said, “That’s all. Nothing to worry about…” She said looking down at the ground. Grace looked at her sadly, “I’m gonna worry about it, you would usually let me punch her. You went out of it for a few minutes, lost in thought, a sad face tears in your eyes.” She touched Grace’s cheek and faced it towards her, “I’m gonna worry Delilah.”
“An awful girl not long ago, one a lot like Paris here, was mean to such a girl like me, thinking I would replace her in her mother’s eyes. But would I? I might! She was jealous, she was afraid, she was sad, she was angry, and worst of all, she wanted revenge!” The way she was singing was a little creepy, and Grace looked at her kind of surprised. “Now a girl like me was nice at first, a little afraid of losing London. Such a nice woman, who took me in, comforted me and gave me a home. She was like a real mother to me at first, until the time eventually came. She was jealous, she was afraid, she was sad, she was angry, and worst of all, she wanted revenge!” Grace looked at her, seemingly holding her breath. “One day I was led into the kitchen, a good place for the mom to cook. But what else happens to be in there? Weapons of all kinds of course! She attacked me with a knife, and out of self-defense she was gone!” Grace covered her mouth. “She was scared, she was helpless, she was lost, she was sorry, and worst of all, she is gone!” Grace watched her carefully. “And what happened to the one, who was using self-defense, who lost control of everything and couldn’t stop herself. What happened to little tiny Delilah? She was thrown out in the streets, to live there alone forever!”
“You didn’t mean to, did you?” Grace asked a few minutes later after the song, after dead silence. Delilah sighed, “No, sorry if I crept you out. But, for some reason when I see my own blood, I go into this almost unconscious state. I go on a rampage on people who get in my way, usually I go after the one who brought the blood but I’ll also go whoever gets in my way… I don’t know why. So, you should know what happened by now…” Grace put a hand on Delilah’s shoulders, “It’s okay. I promise.” Delilah leaned against her arm, “I still have a scar, it’s faint but if you look closely you can see it… Oh it was my fault she died…” Grace shook her head, “No, you couldn’t control yourself. It was her fault, she shouldn’t have attacked you. It was wrong of her to even think of attacking you.” She said trying to calm her down. “Let’s go look around, see how everyone’s doing.” Delilah nodded and they got up and went through the seats, Delilah happened to see something move on the upper seats. Looking up she saw a squirrel, looking back she saw the doors open. It must have wondered in, the squirrel was on the rail and jumped off, wings spread out it was a flying squirrel. She stopped and stared as it landed on a table and scurried away. “Petry-Chan…” She whispered, Grace watched her again very carefully.
Scene 6: The Streets
Crawling out of the box, which she barely fit in, she looked around with tear-filled eyes. Then, a wispy, white, angelic glow in the form of a wolf appeared in front of her. “Angel…” She whispered, froze in place. Angel closed her eyes and took a step forward, swinging her head up she howled. “Angel!!” She said happily, as she went to hug her she felt nothing, she had disappeared. “No! Angel, don’t go! Please! Don’t leave me again!” She cried, feeling the air around her. There was nothing there. Her tear-filled eyes became tears running down her cheek. “I lost you again…” Getting up she walked out, wiping her tears away. Out of the alley and into the streets, she walked down as people ignored her. When she heard chirping she peered into a cage hanging off a lamp post with a Sugar Glider in it. Delilah looked at it, it chirped again, it had blood stains on its fur. “Poor thing…” Delilah said, immediately noticing it had been abused.
A man came out and glared at her, “Go on! Shoo! Leave that stupid animal alone!” He yelled, but Delilah stood her ground. “I’ll leave if you give me this animal.” She said sternly. “Why should I? That Sugar Glider’s a bad animal, he deserves to die. Now go away, or I’ll make you!” He threatened, Delilah didn’t move the slightest inch. He pulled a pocket knife out of his back pocket, and started coming towards her. She backed behind the cage, and when he swung the knife she jumped back. The knife cut the rope that the cage was dangling off of, and it started falling. Delilah ran and caught it, then ran away as fast as she could. When she got back to her alley, she let it out. “I’ll help you.” She said, then went to a fountain and cleaned him up. A few people who were enjoying the town square’s fountain tried to shoo her off, she ran off as soon as she was done.
Going back to the alley, once again, she put it in the box and let it rest. A couple hours later it jumped on her nose. “Oh! You’re awake! Can you fly little Sugar Glider?” Delilah asked, taking him off her nose she stood up. “Let’s see.” She backed up and threw him in the air; he glided through the air but dropped in the box suddenly. “You’ll have to rest more.” She took care of him for days, before he was able to fly. “Well, it was nice knowing you.” She sniffed when she knew she had to get rid of him. “Be free little one.” She cried as she held him out in her hands. He stayed put and Delilah nodded for him to go. “You’re not safe with me.” Delilah said, “You gotta go.” The sugar glider turned around to face her, ran up her arm and nibbled on her ear. “You’re safe with me though. I’ll help you around these streets!” She heard in her mind.
“You can talk?” She asked surprised. “In minds yes, I was experimented on which caused this. I was trained for other things too, but once I failed my master, bang, there I go.” Delilah remembered her sin and how she was kicked out after killing Victoria. “I’m Spyder, but I would like another name. If you give me a good name, I’ll stick by your side and help you through things!” He said happily. Delilah thought hard for a few minutes before coming up with one, “How about Petry?” She asked. “Petry… hmmm…. I like it! Now, stay here, I’mma gets you some money.” He ran off and a few minutes later came back with a few Jewels dangling out of his mouth. Putting it on the ground, she picked it up and ran off, getting food. She shared it with Petry, and they became close quite soon.
“Petry wake up. Petry. Petry. Get up.” Delilah said, trying to get him up one moment. Rolling him on his back, she poked his chest and he jumped a few inches and landing on all fours. “Don’t poke me there! That’s like, my life point dude. If something hurts me there, I could die! Or, if used right, it’s kinda ticklish.” He said as Delilah giggled. “I’ll be more careful next time.” She said as she rubbed the back of his neck. “Ahh right there.. right there.. yeah, thanks..” He said then climbed up on shoulder. “Onward!” She laughed as she walked out of the alley, which they had made their home.
He helped her survive, they was on the streets together for about 3 months before she came with Petry to see how he did things. “We attack, at Dawn.” He said playfully, “But it’s afternoon!” She replied, and then he jumped off her shoulder and glided. She watched a few feet behind as Petry flew on a boys shoulder, he went to climb down him but a ferret came out of nowhere and attacked him. “Petry!” She cried as she ran over to the boy. He turned around and pushed her on the ground angrily, “Let them fight. The best deserves to live, and only the best.” He said cold-heartedly. “But, he stands no chance! He’s too young, he’s not a fighter!” She said to him in tears. “Then he doesn’t deserve to live.” He said, and Petry fell off and hit the ground, “Looks like Razor one. Stupid little Sugar Glider, doesn’t know what he’s doing. Let’s go, and don’t you ever mess with me again, got it little girl?” He then walked away quickly.
Delilah ran over to Petry and picked him up. He was bloody, more bloody then the time she had got him. Part of his wing was ripped off, and his stomach was torn into shreds. “Petry…” She said, “Don’t die… Stay…” He didn’t move, “Petry… Please…” He stayed motionless. “Oh Petry …” She put her head down as tears hit his face. Running away, she went to the box she had at the alley and put him in it. Closing it up, she went into the deepest part in the alley and put him in a corner. “I can’t bury you… so I’m leaving you where we had our best moments.”
Scene 7: The Mezzanine
When Delilah came back to herself Grace was looking at her curiously. “What was it this time? Who’s Petry?” Grace asked, Delilah looked at her for a minute. Looking down, she noticed her arm was grabbed by Grace’s hand. Twisting her hand she grabbed onto Grace’s arm and started running. “Where are we going?” Grace asked, yet followed willingly. She ran up the staircase up to the Mezzanine and sat in the very front this time. She watched Grace sit down beside her; Grace seemed ready to hear her voice sing again. Delilah closed her eyes and focused before opening them and letting her song out:
“A little sugar glider found its way to me, by chirping sadly in a dirty jail cell. When I looked its way I was taken with that pitiful look. It seemed to have been abused. Nobody was there to help it, so that’s when I jumped in. I saved it from torture, took it in and helped it heal. We grew a bond together, and I helped it survive. In the end, it ended up helping me. I went to let it go, for its healing was finished. Then it suddenly spoke to me, saying he’d help me out. I was stunned and then I knew, I had finally found a friend that would help me through. I saved it from torture, took it in and helped it heal. We grew a bond together, and I helped it survive. In the end, it ended up helping me. I and he were close and when we went outside, before we even knew it destruction hit us both. As a ferret attacked him viciously, I tried to help him out but soon was on the ground. I couldn’t do anything as he was ripped to shreds! Oh Petry he was so small and couldn’t make the fight. He saved me from dying; he took me in and helped me live. We grew a bond together, and he helped me survive. In the end, he ended up saving me.”
Grace looked at her sadly, “So, you found a sugar glider in a cage and you saved it from an abusive owner. You helped it heal, and went to let it go and it spoke to you saying he would help you instead? How..?” Delilah chuckled, “He could speak in minds. He was experimented and that happened somehow, dunno.” Grace nodded, “Alright, I see. Well, he helped you live off the streets, this happened after you killed Victoria and London threw you on the streets. One day, you went out?” Delilah nodded, “I wanted to find out how he got the money to buy food.” Grace nodded in agreement. “A ferret attacked him, and the owner pushed you down and you could only watch him lose the fight. You knew he wouldn’t survive, and that’s why you said he was basically helpless. I get it now.” Delilah nodded sadly, “I miss little Petry-Chan. He was a good friend...”
Delilah sighed, she had had enough for one day, she wanted to quit. But it was only afternoon, she couldn’t sleep to escape. “I’m so sorry all this happened to you Delilah. All this happening, it’s so sad and wrong. I wish I could help you. I can’t even imagine how you feel about all this. I hate that you have to relive all those memories. And all in one day too, it’s so sad. It must be painful, it seems to be so torturing.” Delilah froze, eye twitching. “Torture..?” She asked in a whisper. Grace stopped talking, “Did I trigger something Delilah?” Grace asked quickly, about to feel bad if she did.
Scene 8: The Dungeon
Delilah struggled to get the chains off of her, but she dangled off them by the hands against the wall. Feet barely touching the ground, her wrists were in pain. A man came in with a bag, and took Angel the white wolf out of it. She had blood on her neck where she had been shot; her white coat was stained majorly. Delilah screamed, “Please! Get her away from me! I can’t stand to see her in this state!” She cried. He took out a knife and started cutting her up, skinning the fur off of her and showing her flesh. When he had a big part opened he took a big chunk of flesh and went over to Delilah. “Eat it.” He said grinning evilly. Delilah shook her head; mouth sealed shut, eyes full of tears. “Open your mouth.” He said calmly.
She shook her head again, she refused to eat Angel. Smacking her across the face she still managed to keep her mouth shut. He then took his hand and put it under her chin, squeezing her cheeks until she opened her mouth in pain. He shoved the piece in her mouth and she tried to spit it out. It was too far down in her throat and she ended up swallowing. Tears rolled down her cheeks, “Angel… I ate you…” He kept giving her more forcefully until she threw up some, chunks of meat in brownish puke, because she got to full. He then made her eat the throw up before leaving with Angel in front of her to torture her.
A couple days after that, been feeding her Angel a few times every day to keep her alive, one came in and dropped a bag and ran out. Rats scattered everywhere, and went to Angel. Delilah yelled at them to stop but they started eating her meat quite hastily. She yelled until she cried, she couldn’t stand this much longer. It was tearing her up, she tried to look away as the rats ate but she kept peeking, which always made it worse. When the rats were done, it had been hours, there was almost no meat left. One of the men came in and bagged the rats and left.
A few days after that, she had been living off of scraps. Angel’s bones lay there, getting dusty as each day went by. Finally, a man let some puppies and one big dog in and they ran over and started chewing on the bones. The big dog cracked them in half while the puppies chewed on them trying to get any taste from it. Delilah watched helplessly, and quite sadly. This was the last of Angel she would ever see, she was glad at one point. Glad she didn’t have to see her carcass and be tortured automatically.
About a week after that, a man came down a yawned. “We’re bored of you. Nothing pleases us anymore. You’re getting put up for Auction missy. You’ll have fun at a new home.” He said and unchained her. He put her on the counter of a shop and put a “100,000 Jewels” on her shirt. Customers would come in and see, for they ran their own shop. “What’s going to happen to her when she gets bought?” One of the men asked as Delilah overheard their conversation. “Who cares? We’ll be rich once we get the money. I don’t care if she gets tortured, becomes a slave, or goes to a wealthy family. As long as we get that money, we can start new lives!”
Scene 9: The Park
Delilah was being shaken by Grace, who was trying to get her to snap out of it. “I’m sorry if I caused it! I shouldn’t have said whatever I said! Please just come back to reality! Don’t be mad at me!” She cried, she felt so bad and a tear was rolling down her cheek. Delilah shook her head and patted Grace’s head. “It’s fine. You didn’t mean to, you were just saying what came to mind. You was trying to make me feel better, describe how you felt, how I most likely felt. Tortured is right…” Delilah said and leaned back in her chair putting both her hands in her lap. “So that’s what I said…” Grace sighed, “Sorry. What did you imagine this time?” Grace leaned back in her chair and watched Delilah, ready for a song. “It’s about Angel-Sama mostly…” Delilah said, tears filling her eyes. “Are you going to sing?” Grace asked worriedly. “I don’t think so. Not this time, I’ll probably end up crying in the middle of the song… and have to stop. So I’ll just explain.” Delilah breathed deeply, but the tears wouldn’t go away.
“I was tortured, after I got bagged by the men who killed Angel-Sama. I was chained by my hands, by my wrists, dangling down my feet barely touching the floor and I was against the wall. One of the men that took me bringing Angel-Sama in, and he took her out of a bag. Her white angelic fur was stained by blood, where she had gotten shot by them. He then started to cut her open, and when he had a lot of her flesh open he took a chunk and made me eat it. I didn’t want to, but he gave it to me forcefully. I ended up eating most of her leg before throwing up. He then made me eat the puke, which tasted worse than the meat. Finally he left, leaving me in tears. A couple days later, they let rats in the room. They ate all of Angel-Sama’s meat, right in front of me, leaving nothing but bones. Then they got the rats in the bag and left. A few days after that, one of the men let a few puppies and a big dog in. They ran over, the big dog cracking the bones, reminded me of blood hounds. The puppies chewed on it, trying to get any taste. Finally, they was done, and they put me up for auction. Yes, auction, and somebody was going to buy me. One man asked what was going to happen to me, and the other said he didn’t care they was going be rich…”
Grace looked at her with great sadness, “I’m so sorry. This all happened to you? It’s so… hard to believe. You act like you’ve had such a good life, until today. Why haven’t you told me this before?” Grace asked, sad she didn’t know before. “I have trouble talking about my feelings. I hide my sadness with a mask of happiness. Sorry I kept it from you… I just wish this day would get over with, or become better.” Delilah sighed, looking down as tears dripped down her face. “I know how about we go to the park!” Grace said excitedly, jumping up randomly. Delilah looked at her a smiled, “Yeah, that’ll be fun. Come on, we have another hour before we have to work again.” Grace took her hand and pulled her out of the seat, and then she ran out to the Lobby. “I’mma get bread to feed the geese at the river.” She said as she grabbed a whole bag of bread. Then they she ran out of the Theater dragging Delilah along with her.
It only took a few minutes to get to the park, and she stopped a yard or two away from the river where the geese were. “You haven’t really gone near the geese, have you?” Grace asked, smiling at her. “No, I’m kinda afraid of them. They have beaks for weapons…” Delilah said nervously. “They won’t hurt you,” Grace said, opening the bag of bread, “A huge loaf of bread, they love bread!” Grace chuckled as she took a big chunk off and gave it to Delilah. “Go on, go feed them!” She said pushing Delilah at them before she could refuse. Delilah stumbled and looked back, sticking her tongue out meanly she tiptoed to one of the geese. It was pecking the ground for some unknown reason. As soon as it saw her it honked and went towards her. She backed up and held the bread out as far as she could. It honked and started at her, she screamed and ran as it chased her.
“DELILAH!!!” Grace yelled trying to get her attention. “DELILAH!!!” Delilah was screaming as a couple other geese followed her. One grabbed onto her pocket and flapped repeatedly, being dragged away. “IT’S GOT ME!! IT’S GOT ME!!” Delilah screamed in panic. “DELILAH!! DROP THE BREAD!! DROP THE BREAD!!” Grace yelled, swinging her arms side to side in the air as she jumped on and off the ground. She saw Grace yelling and doing her jump-arm thing. “I’M SORRY BUT I CAN’T HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF ME SCREAMING AND THE EVIL GEESE HONKING!!” Delilah yelled at her, trying to run faster. “DELILAH!! DROP THE BREAD!!!!! I’M TRYING TO HELP YOU OUT!! DROP!!! THE!! BREAD!! IT’LL SAVE YOU!!!” Delilah kept running, apparently not hearing her. “JUST HELP ME GRACE-Sempai!!” She yelled as the geese started pecking at her shoes, still running after her.
“DROP THE… Oh man…” Grace sighed, “Gonna have to go help her the hard way.” She stuck her tongue out in concentration and then dashed towards Delilah after dropping the bag of bread, a few geese tried to go around her and some stopped to peck at her. Grace grabbed Delilah’s hand, took the bread and turned around. “GO ON!!!” She yelled as she threw the bread as far as she could. They all swooped towards the bread and left them both heaving. Grace had both hands on her hips as she looked slightly down trying to catch her breath. Delilah was bent down a little, hands on her knees as her head was down towards the ground as she tried to catch her breath. “Oh sure… let’s feed the geese bread Grace-Sempai says… it’ll be fun Grace-Sempai says…” Delilah panted. Grace looked at her when she was back to normal, mostly, and stood up straight with eyebrows raised.
“What don’t you understand of “Drop the bread”?” She asked seriously. “I couldn’t hear you!” Delilah argued, still trying to catch her breath. “Did you hear anything?” Grace asked, “Okay… I’m gonna admit to what I did hear… don’t laugh though…” Delilah said, getting her breath back as she put a finger up as in “one minute”. Grace nodded and Delilah stood up. “I thought you were saying, “Flop like Red!”, and I didn’t want to just flop on the ground like Red, whoever that was.” Grace put her hand over her mouth, trying to hold in a laugh. You could hear the snickers and Delilah sighed, “Just laugh…” Grace burst out laughing, “That’s hilarious Delilah!! I’m sorry but it is!!” Delilah sighed, then smiled finally she started laughing. “I guess it was pretty funny…” Grace nodded with tears in her eyes.
“Let’s go to the swings. That is one of my favorite parts of the park.” Delilah smiles as she dashes off. “So childish, next thing we know she wants me to push her down the slide. Or she’s gonna act like a monkey on the monkey bars and fall…” Grace sighed and followed slowly. Delilah practically jumped right on the swing from behind, sitting perfectly on in and getting a head start in her swinging. Grace finally caught up, Delilah going pretty high by now. Shaking her head, Grace sat on the swing and swung quite slowly. Delilah was cheering up until she smelled certain cologne. Going wide-eyed she remembered that cologne, how could she forget it?
Scene 10: The Basement
“She’s pretty.” A man said, pointing to Delilah who was sitting on the counter, looking down at her shoes. “She’s 100,000 Jewels, deal?” One of the mean that tortured her said. “Hmm… I’m not sure…” He said, thinking as he cocked his head. “You can do whatever you like with her; we won’t stop you with anything…” The other man that tortured her said. “Ha, alright then I guess I’ll take her. You’re coming with me…?” Delilah looked at him, cringing at his face. “Delilah… What’s your name sir?” Delilah asked as she gulped. “I’m Silas; would you like to come with me at home?” He asked, Delilah shook her head and he frowned. His eyes turned harsh and he paid them the money, picking her up he left. She smelled his cologne, it was really strong and it made her cough.
When they got to his house he put her in his basement. “Are you hungry Delilah?” He asked with a smile, Delilah nodded quietly. He left and came back with a lot of grapes, she didn’t know how that would fill her but he sat down on the bed. “You’re pretty.” He said, pushing the hair out of her face. After that he had his way with her, feeding her grapes as she did it. Whenever she whined he would slap her, and it went on for a long time. When he was done he left, and came back the next day, and the next, and the next. He did the same thing over and over, feeding her grapes. He would also feed her his leftovers, so she could stay alive.
Finally, he came in with money in his hands, “I have company, so have fun and be good.” He said, and a man came in and did the same thing. Many men came in and had their way with her. After about a year, she heard yelling upstairs. “I heard about men having fun with a girl! That can only mean one thing! I heard she was here, and how come you suddenly become so rich?! You were one of the poorest people in this village, barely having 100,000 Jewels! Give me the girl, I want her!” She banged her fists on his table. Silas glared at her, “You can’t have her!” he snarled. “What do I have to do for her?” She yelled angrily. “You’re wealthy right?” He asked with a grin. “How much, name your price!” She said reaching into her pocket, pulling a wallet out. “1,000,000 Jewels is my price. Take it or leave it.” He said calmly, putting his hand out to take it.
She glared at him and took the money out, “I have plenty, now where the hell is she?!” She yells and Silas points downstairs. The woman ran down and took her hand, making her way out. “Where am I going lady?” Delilah asked. “I’m London, I’m taking you to my home. You’ll like it there, I’ll treat you better.” She said as she got out of the house and went their way to London’s. “You’re saving me London?” Delilah asked hopefully. “Yes, I guess you could say that. I’m so sorry that happened to you. It won’t happen on my watch, never!”
Scene 11: The Lobby
Delilah had stopped swinging and she was staring out in space. Tears were streaming down her face and Grace was right by her side shaking her lightly. “Delilah. What happened this time? Delilah!” Grace said worriedly. “I…” Delilah hesitated. “What Delilah? What happened you what Delilah you what?” Grace asked, zooming in on her face. “That was one of the worst things I ever experienced…” Delilah cried, putting her face in her hands which were cupped. “What was it? Delilah, speak to me! Is there any way I can help?” Grace pushed a little.
Delilah shook her head, “No… you can’t help… let’s just… get outta here… away from that cologne smell…” Delilah stuttered, she slid off the swing and rushed out of the park, going to the Lobby of the theater she went to the back table and laid here head down. Grace was right there with her in ten seconds flat. She patted Delilah’s back and shushed her. “Tell me when you’re ready to talk…” Grace said softly. “Grace! Everything’s not easy to talk about!” Delilah yelled, lifting her head up as more tears fell down her face. Grace knew she had made her upset, especially when she didn’t call her –Sempai.
“Hush now little Delilah, don’t you cry anymore. I’m here right by your side; I won’t leave you I promise that. Because friends are there for friends, right by each other’s side. Isn’t that right, you always said that. Isn’t that the truth, you always believed it. Isn’t that great, you have the best of friends. Hush now fragile Delilah, don’t you worry anymore. I’m right here to protect you; I won’t let anything harm you. You can believe me or not, but I plan on being here for you. Isn’t that right, you always said that. Isn’t that the truth, you always believed it. Isn’t that great, you have the best of friends. Hush now soft Delilah, don’t you cry anymore. I’m here now to guide you, help you through the raining storm. No matter where we go, I’ll be here to shelter you. Isn’t that right, you always said that. Isn’t that the truth, you always believed it. Isn’t that great, you have the best of friends. Don’t you ever forget that, you have the best of friends.” She sang softly.
Delilah looked up at her with a smile, “Thanks Grace-Sempai, I’m so sorry I tried to run off such a great friend like you. You see… what happened was…” She looked around, seeing the Lobby was clear, yet still whispered: “Remember, I was put up for auction after I was tortured. Well, a man bought me. He thought I was pretty and…” Tears were starting to come back and Grace went wide-eyed. “He did bad things to me… while abusing me…” She propped her head up by her hands which were placed on her forehead. “Oh Delilah… I’m so sorry I pushed you, if I knew it was that bad and hard to talk about then I wouldn’t have… I promise. Oh…” She shook her head sadly. “It’s okay… you was just trying to be a good friend… you was worried, I understand.” Delilah said as she sighed. “Let’s think happy thoughts! What’s a happy part if your life Delilah?” Delilah rose up and smiled, “When I met you.”
Scene 12: The Theater
Delilah was in the alley laying there curled in a ball. She was going to die in that alley, she couldn’t survive without Petry. Petry was the one who helped her around the streets, who helped her survived, and he was gone. She sighed, she was in pain. Suddenly, she felt warmth, opening her eyes she saw a white, angelic glow shaped as a wolf. Angel! Angel nodded up with a stern look, ‘Up.’ Delilah scrambled up. Angel nodded to the right and started walking, making her way out of the alley. Delilah followed obediently, the dark alley shone bright around them as if Angel was a lantern, and soon they were out.
They walked down the streets, and people backed up to make room for them so they wouldn’t have to push. An idiotic man was brave enough to go near them and Angel stopped, glared at him as she growled showing her icy glare. He backed up before turning and hightailing it out of there. Angel continued her way and they soon god to a big building. “Dreamy Theater”, Delilah read out then looked down. Angel was gone, “Why did she lead me here?” Delilah asked herself, and then opened the doors as she went inside.
Once she got inside, before she could even look around something bumped into her roughly and they both fell down. “Watch it!” She yelled before blinking at Delilah. Delilah blinked back and the girl smiled. “Sorry, I thought you were someone else. What’s your name? I’m Grace!” Grace said happily. “I’m Delilah, nice to meet you Grace.” Delilah smiled back. “Delilah… huh, that’s a very fancy name! You’ll fit right in in this theater! Anyways, what are you doing here? The theaters not ready for a play…” Grace said cocking her head. “I got lead here…” Grace nodded, “You seem homeless, I know exactly who can help!!” Grace then ran off dragging Delilah as she had grabbed her hand.
They both stopped suddenly when they got to a tall woman. “Who is this Grace-Kohai.” She asked. “Mother, this is Delilah! She doesn’t have a home, can we take her in! We could use another helping hand in the play anyways, we could teach her!” Grace said with a great smile. “Oh, alright then Grace-Kohai I guess it’ll be okay. I am Charlotte-San. It’s a pleasure to meet you Delilah-Kohai. But I guess since I’ll be teaching you, you should call me Charlotte-Sensei.” Delilah nodded, “Nice to meet you Charlotte… err Charlotte-Sensei… whatever that means.”
“It means teacher. I’ll teach you respect ranks later.” She then walked away, “Grace-Kohai, show her around.” Grace nodded, “Come on Delilah!” She then started showing her around. By the time they were done it was about dinner time. “Come on!” Grace said as she walked off, Delilah followed. After a few minutes of walking, a girl came up and smiled at her. “You look new, are you joining us?” She asked, “I’m Marie Sinera Kavina, the star of the Theater!” She said, putting her hand around Delilah’s back and her other hand out with a smile on her face. “Let’s hear you sing! Sing a song that you know!”
“Red roses, red roses, how pretty they are. Red roses, red roses, they’re lovely as can be.” Delilah sang the first part of the song London sang to her when she lived with her. Marie nodded, “Pretty voice, if we practice you could be the star someday! After dinner come to my room and we’ll sing together. I sense something bright in you, you’ll be a great star! Heehee, if you can get past me!” She smiled and ran off. Grace came back, “I got so worried when I realized you weren’t following me!” She sighed in relief, “Come on!” She then led her to the dining room and they ate the most wonderful dinner Delilah had ever eaten.
Scene 13: The Bathroom
Delilah smiled along with Grace. “That’s how huh? That’s awesome, I grew up here, Mother has always been the theater director. I don’t know, but I think she actually made this theater, I might be wrong though.” She chuckled, “So Angel led you here. I see, so that’s one reason why you respect her. She brought you to a loving place somewhere you belong. Somewhere you could make friends, and have fun.” Delilah nodded through all that. “Yeah….” Delilah smiled happily. “And now I have such a good friend! Grace Hemphill, Daughter of Charlotte Hemphill. They are also known to me as Grace-Sempai and Charlotte-Sensei!” She put both fists up to her mouth, slightly tilted her head down with a smile on her face eyes closed, giggling a little. “Yeah, I’m glad you’re my friend too Delilah.” She smiled happily and Delilah nodded, getting out of her earlier girly position.
“What time is it?” Delilah asked randomly, looking around. “It’s only evening; this day is going by really slow, sadly. It must be hard on you…” Grace said looking at her, Delilah just shook her head. “I’ll be fine, don’t worry about me.” Grace sighed, “I’ve already told you multiple times, I’m gonna worry for you. I’m always gonna worry for you. Especially now that I’ve heard all your past, it’s just so sad I don’t know how you live peacefully with all those memories…” Delilah looked down sadly and Grace immediately changed part of her sentence: “I mean! I don’t see how you seemingly go by each day peacefully. With that happy mask of yours, I wouldn’t be able to hide it as well as you do. At first glance it seems you had such a good life…” Delilah nodded, “Yeah, I easily fool people if that’s what you’re saying. That way people won’t ask what’s wrong all the time… or worry about me so much, which you probably are now…”
“I’ll try not to be too pushy, or protective or worrisome. I can’t make any promises though…” Delilah nodded, “I know, if anything like this happened to you I would be worried all the time. It’s a thing with friends; they want to make the other happy.” Grace nodded, “Yeah that’s totally how I feel. I hope I can help you live a happy life from here on-“ “I have to pee.” Delilah interrupted Grace. “D-Delilah! I’m trying to be serious and touchy!” She said in shock. “Sorry… but I do. Come on, to the bathroom!” She ran off and Grace followed, “Wait, together?” Grace asked surprised. “Come on, it’s not near as bad as taking a bath with me when we was younger!” Grace gasped and went red, “I thought you had forgotten that!” She cried, “How could I forget something like that Grace-Sempai? You would always try to dump the whole bubble soap in the water and splash around for extra bubbles!” Delilah laughed, “W-well, at least I didn’t take toys in the bathtub and play with them, acting as if they were in a play!” Grace said back.
“Oh, I remember that!” Delilah said as she turned to the right and put her hands out to block her body from being hit by the bathroom door. It swung open and she ran in, looking into the mirrors for a second and seeing her hair was a mess from running from the geese, she suddenly remembered why she was there. Running into a stall Grace ran in. After a few seconds Delilah came out and looked at Grace. “Wow, you pee fast.” Delilah nods, “I won a contest to see who could pee faster with Paris-Kohai.” She smirked. “Paris?! Did I need to know that?..” Delilah shook her head, “I thought I’d let you know.” She smiled and looked in the mirror, trying to fix the part in her hair. Next thing she knew there were bunny ears made with two fingers behind her head showing in the mirror, she suddenly stopped as her hands placed on her head.
Scene 14: The Auditorium
Delilah soon met Marie again, right after Dinner, and was led to an audition room. “Okay, I changed the place to go to this room. Here we test our voices and practice plays. Now listen to my voice.” She breathed deeply. “Lonely child in the dark, can’t find her way back home. How lovely she can be, so pitiful inside.” She had her eyes closed as she sang, rocking her head up and down. Opening her eyes she smiled, “I breathe deeply in the start of a song usually. Concentrate on your voice, how the song will go, and the lyrics. Once you get better lyrics come to your head automatically, the tune can too. Let’s work on your pitch first, then we’ll work on how to breath so you can sing longer notes and stuff.” Marie said, “You kept getting off tune in your songs, it was messed up a little and didn’t really fit, but it was a really good first try. When you heard me sing, I was right on tune wasn’t I? Didn’t it sound good?” Marie asked. “It sounded perfect.” Delilah said as she smiled.
“Alright, well how I learned was taking song lyrics and sing it over and over again. Until it sounded just right, ya know how that feels. Once you get the tune right for every song you play, sometimes you can make a song randomly in your head and sing it in a perfect pitch without even thinking about it! Okay, sing the line I sang before, try to sound a bit sad. Don’t worry about making some of the words carry out like I did; we’ll work on that later.” Delilah nodded, “Tell me the words again?” Marie repeated the words to her song. “Lonely child in the dark, can’t find their way back home. How lovely she can be, so pitiful inside.” Delilah sang, “You really added feeling into that song. That probably means you relate. Anyways, that was good! The tunes were a little off at some parts but keep trying and it’ll work. Oh, and how I got my singing so good, I would sing my feelings out.”
“It’s weird, because somebody will say something and I sing my reply, whether it’s a question or a statement. I didn’t worry if I messed up at first, it would make me better every time I did it. Your voice will grow stronger by each song, and don’t strain your voice. Put meaning into the song, and don’t ever try to make yourself sing something you can’t. It makes it sound weird, oh and when we do plays we let you sing it first to make sure you can do it right, and if it sounds like you’re trying to make yourself then we pick you another song. We also pick out acting parts which could fit your character, and soon you’ll be able to play out almost any part! Maybe you’ll be as good as me someday.” Delilah nodded, “You talk a lot.” She says seriously. “Well, I have to tell you all the stuff you need to know. There’s a lot of it! Now, sing it again!” Marie smiles brightly at her. Delilah sang over and over, about the seventh time she sang Marie threw her hands up in the air,
“WOAH! That was perfect, sing it again like you did right there!” Delilah sang it again and Marie nodded her head. “That’s how you keep on tune. Now, sing your song, the Red Roses, try to keep on tune with that.” Delilah did Red Roses and about the sixth try she had done in, Marie putting her fist out and thumb up. “Beautiful! Now, let’s work on breath!” Delilah yawned, “Can we do that tomorrow, I’m tired and kinda losing my voice. I’m not used to singing so much…” Marie nodded, “Good idea! Come back to me in the morning, at 9:00.” Delilah nodded and left the room.
The next day she came at 9:00, as told. Marie was waiting, swinging her legs back and forth under the chair she was sitting in. She brightened up as soon as she saw her. “Let’s work on tune with a few other songs, Red Roses was mostly a calm song. Let’s try a happy, upbeat song. Here, I got some lyrics:” She breathed deeply and started singing, “Let us go where we can shine brilliant, shine so brilliant, so brilliant brilliant brilliant! Let’s go somewhere where we can shine as bright as stars in the night sky, YEAH!” She sang happily. Delilah nodded and sang it her own way, still cheerful. “Again, off tune a little, you made it kinda sad at some parts.” Delilah did it over and over until the fifth try, where Marie randomly clapped her hands and yelled out: “Brilliant!” Delilah smiled at her. “Now, let us try a creepy sounding song. This one is always the hardest to do for me, because I’m not really into creepy songs. I usually end up sounding mad, but it works out in the end.”
“Tiger crouching low in the dirty plain grass, as it stalks its little prey, a little dainty deer. As the mother turns away not a second to soon, he crouches low and shoots off, getting his dinner.” Delilah nodded, and did the same, after the fourth time Marie smiled and nodded. “Great! You didn’t have as much trouble as I did… Hmm, you had trouble had the happy… that’s usually easy to me. Anyways, bravo!!! Now let’s work on breath. First, stand up off the chair. Good, breathe in and out, slowly. The shoulders and chest should never drop; you can also do this laying down if you want. Now, practice by hissing, buzzing, humming. Great!” After a few minutes she took a stopwatch out of her pocket. “Okay, put your finger right in the middle of the place right below your breasts. One finger, pushed down, this helps strengthen your voice. Then go “Ahhhhhhhhhh” as long as you can. I’ll time it, and keep doing that until you can hold out about 15-30 seconds. I can hold out to 30.” She said quite proudly. Delilah did as she was told, and when she ran out of breath Marie clicked the thing that started/stopped it.
“11 seconds, good job. Better than I thought you could do” Delilah murmured: “Cause I’m used to screaming loud and long..” But Marie didn’t hear, “Now, again!” They timed it once again. “8 seconds, you went down. Again!” Delilah did it, “14 seconds. Almost, try again please.” Delilah tried once more, “18, nice.” She did it again, “23, good.” Once again she did it, “27…you’re about to beat me…” She said, seemingly jealous. Delilah did it one more time, “Holy..!! 34 seconds! That breaks my whole record of 33!” Marie cried in shock. “I thought you said it was 30…” Marie smiled and shook her head, “It was closer to 30, so I just said 30.” Delilah nodded, now she understood. “That’s enough for today. I’m gonna let you rest, see me tomorrow at 10:00.” Marie said as she walked out of the room. Delilah walked out too, that was the end of training for that day.
The next day, she came back and Marie tested her breath one last time. “32 seconds, I think you’re ready for the next phase!” She trilled quite happily, “I knew it was the right choice to pick you as my student!” Delilah watched her, “What’s the next phase Marie?” Marie looked at her, “Do you yawn when somebody else yawns?” Delilah nodded, and right the Marie yawned. “Try to sing while yawning, tongue flat behind your teeth. It’ll be hard at first but just do it.” She said as Delilah yawned. She had already yawned by the time Marie told her, and Marie yawned again. Delilah started singing. It took a while, but she finally got it to where she had her tongue flat and she sang with “ahhhhs”. “Good job! It only took fourteen tries! Okay, now, listen to me play songs. You need to hear other songs to get a creative view on songs yourself.” She said, and then started singing random songs. She sang about 6 before looking at her. “Now, did you listen closely?” Delilah nodded. “Good!”
“Now, you create your own song! You can rhyme them at the end of each line, like this: I looked over at you, and saw you were blue. It’s hard to see you cry, and every time you lie… etc. But, they are a lot harder to make then singing randomly. It may sound better, but if you make a song that doesn’t rhyme and sing it right then it sounds beautiful! I have to be creative and careful with how I sing with my random songs, that way it sounds better than rhyming. Now, try to rhyme 6 sentences, a chorus, like I did. Every two lines at the end rhyme for the next. Then you usually start a new line. Write it down, you must practice it by writing it down and memorizing it before songs can come to your head automatically.” Delilah got a pencil and paper and started to write. When she was done, she started singing it while reading: “As I return to my bed side, under the covers I try to hide. But I’m easily seen, no matter what it may seem. I just want to get away, from the world that sees me as its prey.” Delilah looked up and saw Marie smiling, she smiled to.
“That was beautiful, so much meaning! You’re a natural!! Now, write a chorus that doesn’t rhyme.” Delilah went back to her paper: “All I wanted was a nice warm home, somewhere I could have good comfort. It’s so hard to find one as well as that, and I was left wondering on my own. Now I feel lost and helpless, but I know my spirit will give me hope.” She looked up and Marie nodded, smiling. “Right! I love it! Tomorrow you shall right a full song! I would suggest thinking about what it’s going to be for your homework today. Make it good, whichever song writing you prefer. See me tomorrow at 11:00” Then she walked away, as did Delilah. She thought long and hard what it should be that day, and it got right to her before she went to sleep.
The next day she went to the room at 10:00, and wrote down her creation. When it was 10:45, she was done. She took the time to read it and sing it over and over to memorize it. Then she decided to wait, and found Marie came in 5 minutes early. “You got it?” Marie asked, Delilah held up the paper. “Great! Let me here!” She sat down and Delilah put the paper down, showing she didn’t need it. “Every day I’m reminded of my past, of all the things that happened. I’m torn apart sadly, as I try to find hope. But nothing comes to me, as I cry alone at night. All I wanted was a nice warm home, somewhere I could have good comfort. It’s so hard to find one as well as that, and I was left wondering on my own. Now I feel lost and helpless, but I know my spirit will give me hope. As I thought about my past, and thought about my torture, it all happened to a lonely girl like me. I wonder what I did, to deserve all I got, no hope was coming to me yet. All I wanted was a nice warm home, somewhere I could have good comfort. It’s so hard to find one as well as that, and I was left wondering on my own. Now I feel lost and helpless, but I know my spirit will give me hope. Finally one night it all came to me, in a bright white angelic glow. My fears and worries all went missing, as I finally found hope to go on. I was ready to face anything to come, for I had finally found my hope. All I wanted was a nice warm home, somewhere I could have good comfort. It’s so hard to find one as well as that, and I was left wondering on my own. Now I feel lost and helpless, but I know my spirit will give me hope.”
Marie nodded, “That’s great! I’m so proud; you did it without looking at the papers! Your tune was great, you carried out some of the words, you didn’t need to stop for breath! You’re ready for performances. Come here every day and sing that song, I’ll bring people as we go on each day. If they agree you’re good, we’ll put you on the stage! If they have any complaints, we’ll work harder. But do remember, if they say you’re good to go you still need to practice. It’ll take a while, but we’ll make you a star! Soon, lyrics will pop into your head! You’ll be in plays before you know it! Somebody’s gonna have to teach you acting; I’m mainly the star singer. Grace is probably the best at acting around here, you know her right?” Delilah nodded immediately after the question. “Then it shouldn’t be a problem! Don’t get cocky though, it’ll take years to perfect all that you’ve learned. Even though it may sound perfect, it could use a few tweaks here and there.” She smiled and walked out.
They not only practiced, but hung out together to. Marie followed her to the bathroom once, secretly. When Delilah came out and looked in the mirror she snuck up behind her, when Delilah was looking at the sink. Then she put bunny ears behind her head, Delilah looked up and cocked her head. The bunny ears followed. “Marie?” She asked looking back, Marie smiled sneakily. “Oh Marie, stop giving me the bunny ears!” She giggled. “It was fun while it lasted.” She sighed, “If only you hadn’t seen me…” Delilah shook her head as they both laughed.
They practiced every day; she performed as more people came. They all loved her, there were no complaints. The days passed, and it had been 4 months, she was going to be in her first play. She was one of the background characters, but she was happy she was in the play. After the play, Marie took her outside to hang out, to the end of the town. “Marie…” Marie looked at her, “Yes dear student of mine?” Delilah smiled, “I was wondering…” Marie looked at her, waiting for the question. Then, there was a loud gunshot, and Marie fell over. She struggled to get up, as she had been shot in the chest. She heaved, trying to catch her breath. Delilah was shocked for a minute before rushing down. “What was your question Delilah?” Marie asked, trying to sound like she wasn’t in pain but failing. “I need to get you to safety…” Marie smiled, “The question first.” Marie knew she wouldn’t survive, she was too far away from the doctor and she had been hit in a bad spot.
“I wanted to know why you would teach a girl like me such wonderful music.” She said in tears, “I need to get you to safety!” Marie smiled, “I kind of hid this from you, from everybody… but I wanted a new star to replace me…” Delilah cocked her head, “What do you mean replace you? You’re the best there is! How could I ever replace you? Don’t leave me! You’re my best friend!” She cried. “I knew I was gonna die soon…” Delilah froze. “I guess my time has come… believe it or not, I was a bad girl when I was younger… I’ve been hiding from a certain assassin for a long time… I guess he finally got me…” Delilah’s tears flooded down her cheeks. “I wanted someone to take my place… and you seemed right somehow… Something told me in my head, when I first saw you, “She’s a star, she’s the one.” So I accepted it, and boy was it right… you probably have more talent than me, more than I could ever have… So go chase your dream, be a star yourself…Live on…” She said chuckling. “Good luck..” Delilah shook her head, “Marie! Stay with me!” She was quiet. “No!! Marie!!” She was limp. “MARIE!!”
Scene 15: The Stairs
“and then I said—“ Grace was behind her with her hand on her head, other hand on her hip as she laughed. “Grace-Sempai…” Grace looked at her smiling, “What is it?” Delilah shook her head, “I had another one… it was about Marie-Sempai…” Grace blinked, “Marie… Oh yeah, the star before you! She disappeared didn’t she?” Delilah nodded. “Me and her worse close, closer than I was to you before she died.” Grace looked at her in shock, “W-what?! She was your best friend first?!” She asked surprised. “Grace-Sempai! Notice I said “Before she died!”, think about that!” Grace stopped and sighed, “Yeah… sorry. Do you know what happened to her Delilah? Delilah motioned for her to follow and ran out the bathroom.
Going straight, then right she entered the front stage. Going behind the curtains, entering the back stage, she ran down the stairs which connected the backstage to the bedrooms. In the middle of running down them, she fell and tumbled down the stairs until she stopped herself by grabbing onto the railing somehow. Grace ran down after her, “Delilah! Oh my goodness! Are you okay?!” She yelled worriedly. Delilah sat up and nodded, she was in pain though. “Let’s get you to a doctor! Make sure you’re alright!” Delilah shook her head, “I’m fine. Don’t worry; let me tell you about Marie-Sempai.” Grace sat down beside her, “Here, on the stairs?” She asked and Delilah answered with a nod. “Don’t sing it, just spit it out.” Grace said quickly as she closed her eyes to concentrate.
“She was the one that taught me how to sing so well, like you were the one that taught me how to act.” Grace nodded, seemingly proud when she said she taught her how to act. “She taught me well; anyways that’s not the problem. Before she died, I asked her why she would teach someone like me. She said she needed a new star to take her place.” Grace cocked her head curiously. “She was being hunted by a certain assassin. She didn’t explain why, she just said she had a bad history, and wasn’t such a good girl when she was younger.” Grace blinked. “She died in my arms with a bullet in her heart. The assassin had got her, and she told me I had to take her place.” Grace sighed, “I see… Well, I think it’s late enough we should go to bed. We missed our work hour; we’ll have to do the play tomorrow. Rest up, can’t wait to see you on stage. Remember your part; you didn’t get a big one this time. You know how they want everyone to be the star at one point; I guess I’ll be it tomorrow. You’ll be the maid, I’m the rich person. Great, I have to act mean to you, that’ll be fun.” She sighed as she helped her up. “Night, see ya in the morning.” Delilah nodded, “Night Grace-Sempai, sleep well!”
Scene 16: The Dresser
“Leggings first…” … “Good! Perfect!” Delilah stood on the stool at the dressing room as Rosalinda put the maid outfit on her. “Now the apron…” Rose quietly murmured every step to herself, she always did this. “I’m just getting started aren’t I?” Delilah asked, she usually hated this part. It took so long, Rose wanted everything right. Rose wouldn’t let her see herself in the mirror until she was done. Then the suspense of the play came right after it. She had stayed up from 8:00 to 11:00 practicing her parts over 3 times, and she was sure as hell ready for anything. “Not even close to done, no, no, no, be patient dear Delilah.” She said as she tied the apron in the back in a tidy bow in the back.
“Make sure this can’t be undone…” She tugged at it and it stayed put. “Now to fix the lacing…” Rose murmured as she started to fix the lacing to look right on the dress. “Step down into those shoes please.” She directed the shoes a few inches in front of the stool. Delilah put one foot down inside and placed it in, same with the other. Rose bent down and put the shoes in place, locking them on. “Done! Ooooh wait!” She cried before Delilah could look in the mirror. “I almost forgot the Maid’s Headband!” She said, she hurried to the desk and took the white lacy headband with bows at each end. “Fit it right here! There~!” Delilah tapped her foot, “Done? And I mean fully this time Rosalinda-Sempai?” Rose nodded,
“You should call me –Kohai with your high ranking silly goose!” Delilah shook her head, “You have a more important job, getting everything ready.” Rose smiled and then pushed her to the mirror. Delilah gasped and went wide-eyed. “You look like a great maid Delilah! Oh! Is it too much, what do you think?” Rose asked worriedly once she saw Delilah’s face. “No it’s perfect! I love this outfit, I love it so much I might actually become a real maid! If I can wear this outfit, that is.” Rose smiled at her, “I knew you’d like it!” She trilled happily, “Go to your place on the stage, hurry! They should be starting soon, you was the last one I had to prepare! Besides myself of course, I’m almost done with my outfit so it shouldn’t take long. Oh it’s been so long since I’ve been in a play!” She rushed Delilah out of the dressing room.
She ran up the stairs and hid behind the curtain, looking out at everyone in their position on the stage she peered at the other side of the stage, and behind the curtains were Paris and Shurika, and a few other people. Smiling she saw Grace in a fancy looking red chair with gold legs and arm rests on the stage, one leg on top of the other. Another chair exactly the same but with silver legs and arm rests sat right beside it. She looked quite bored at the moment, staring off into space. Delilah looked and found she was looking at her! She smiled, looking at the fancy glass topped table with silver fancy legs in front of Grace. There was a red carpet under her with gold swirls as designs, and gold trimmings at the edges. A grandfather clock stood in place in front of the wall separating the front and back stage.
There was a picture of Charlotte on the wall, which acted as Grace’s dead mother. The wall was painted red with silver designs at the top and bottom. Delilah looked closer and smiled; it wasn’t the complete wall they sat on, but a wall right in front of it. It would be easier rolling in another wall with different features instead of repainting the real wall. At the edge of wall was a small regular brown table with fake roses in a fancy clear glass with water in it. A fireplace stood in the middle of the wall, orange flame-looking paper lay lifelessly there, hidden unless looked at with close inspection. Last of all she saw the table in the corner of the curtain next to her where they would lay the stuff her, the maid, would bring to the princess, Grace. She saw a plate with a cover on it, uncovering it she saw roast with carrots, onions, potatoes, mushrooms and butter. Smiling she put the fancy lid back on and took the plate in one hand. Looking out she saw the red curtain sliding back, announcing the beginning of the play.
Scene 17: The Frontstage
Grace sighed and looked at the clock impatiently, it was 2:35. Looking around she smacked her lips and tapped her foot on the floor a few times. “Delilah!! Where are you with my lunch?!” She yelled angrily, they had decided to use most of the real names for the play. Delilah, Grace, Paris, Rose (Rosalie instead of Rosalinda) and Karene (instead of Shurika) Delilah let a breath out, “Here I go.” She said and went out. She walked quite quickly, as if wanting to get there fast, and when she got to Grace she smiled. “Here is your lunch, the Roast you wanted with the sides of carrots, onions, potatoes, mushrooms, and butter you asked specifically for.” She opened the plate as soon as she said “carrots”. She waved the plate under Grace’s nose before setting it down on the table.
“What took you so long?” Grace said quite angrily. “Oh, I was putting the butter on it and letting it melt, it was the last thing it needed to be perfect for you Milady.” She said politely. “Whatever, where in the world is Paris? She was supposed to come back and converse about a very special matter half an hour ago!” She said as Delilah went behind her to push her chair up to the table. “I have no idea, do you wish for me to go find her?” Delilah asked, still very polite. “Yes indeed, be back before ten minutes is over.” She growled and started eating. “Yes Milady.” She bowed and left the room. Grace ate some before Delilah opened the door and Paris came in. “Thank you Delilah.” Delilah smiled, bowed and simply said: “Of course Milady.” Grace pointed for Delilah to leave before Delilah could leave as planned.
“Paris, we must talk. You know what about, correct?” Grace said with raised eyebrows. “Yes sister, about our kingdom. It’s falling apart and we must help it be repaired.” Paris said as she sat down in the chair next to hers, sitting straight she watched Grace eat. “Shouldn’t you be in the dining room to eat?” Grace shook her head, “I can be wherever I want. Now, as for the Kingdom, what is it exactly making it fall apart again?” Paris sighed as she looked down, “Oh Grace…what it is, please remember, there are too many people becoming homeless. Many people are dying of starvation, and sicknesses that haven’t been cured in time. It’s hard for people to make money now-a-days, and we have to find out why.”
“Maybe it’s because the land is hard to farm with this hot year, or maybe because the streams where we get our fresh water is drying up.” Grace looked at her, “Ah, yes. I remember now. Hmm, what shall we do…” Grace seemed lost in thought. “We certainly cannot let it rest without doing something, if our kingdom continues like this we will have no more population and we could barely call it our kingdom.” Grace nodded in agreement. “We shall think, meanwhile I shall also eat.” Grace said and started eating again. “This is not something we can put off Grace, do remember that.” Paris said shaking her head sadly.
After a while Grace had finished eating, and she stood up. Rubbing her arms with hands crossed as they were placed there, she looked at the fireplace. “I’m cold… What about you Paris?” Paris nodded, “Let me-“ “DELILAH!!!” Grace yelled. It took a minute but Delilah came in, “Yes Milady?” She asked smiling. “Make a fire if you will.” Grace said as she sat back down. Delilah went over to the fireplace and pretended to be setting a fire. “Grace! You were 6 feet away from it, you could easily have done it yourself!” Paris said horrified. Delilah then pushed a button inside the fake chimney and fake flames made out of paper rose up and started flattering around as air blew up. “It’s quite alright Ma’am, I am your maid and here to do anything you wish. Lighting a fireplace is a simple task to do; there is no need to complain.” Delilah said getting up and looking at them.
The audience gasped as there was a real spark in the chimney, “What did you do Delilah!?” Grace yelled, trying to keep the play going and audience calm even though they should probably be worried about it. “I’m so sorry Milady, let me look at it once again to make sure it’s fine. I assure you it is though, its fire trying to fly out.” She smiled as she went over and checked it. She looked at it and smoke coming through the hole in the middle, going wide-eyed she tried to hide it but it went over her. “Well?” Grace asked, “Fix it!” Delilah frowned as she tried to wave the smoke away, coughing as it got into her face. Suddenly, the fake Styrofoam chimney burst into flames.
The audience started screaming and Charlotte, from the curtains, motioned for Rose to shut the curtains. Rose did it quickly and Charlotte when out in front of the curtains. “So sorry, we are fixing this problem we are having. Please settle down while we get the play up again!” She announced, they all settled down and Charlotte went behind the curtain. “What happened, Delilah-Kohai?” She hissed as she glared at her. “I-I don’t know! I pushed the button, I didn’t do anything else! I swear! I don’t know how it started!” She said as she blew on the fire, waving it as she did it. “Nice job Delilah, now watch the theater burn down! You’re such a careless idiot!” Paris put her down quite angrily. Delilah didn’t face her, but her face was red with anger as it went all over her body. She felt the urge to punch her, but controlled it. "Owh!" She quickly jerked her right hand away from the fire.
Charlotte glared at Paris who backed down immediately. “She did as she was supposed to in the play mother! I watched, she wouldn’t do anything like that anyways! Besides, it had to be triggered down below where the air blew up! Do understand!” Grace cried as she defended her beloved friend. “I understand Grace-Kohai, we must find the cause of this. Rose-Kohai, Shurika-Kohai, Paris-Kohai, help put the fire out. Grace-Kohai and Delilah-Kohai I trust you to go down and find out the cause. I shall calm the audience down, now go!” They all separated to their new stations. “Get water Paris!” Rose commanded. “Why don’t you get it!” She hissed. “How about both of you get it! We can’t argue all day! We gotta do something you guys!” Shurika cried in complete panic. They both left to get water.
“Do not worry, calm yourselves! Everything will be fixed soon!” Charlotte said loudly. Grace peeked out of the curtain to get a glimpse and gasped, “Oh my god…” She whispered. “You’re right! The fire is spreading! It’s actually going to burn down the theater!” Delilah cried, in an even more state of panic then Shurika. “No! I mean, oh my god! Strange men are entering, they look mighty suspicious… Oh... a huge sword…” Delilah perked up, “What?! But… are we being attacked?!” Grace nodded, “I think so. I think Mother sees them too, she’s watching them as far as I can tell.”
“Alright, this theater is going down! Any guy around here dies; any girl here comes with us.” A man with a deep voice said. The audience started to panic, and a few tried to run away. But they was shot down, “Girls better come willingly too, I should mention.” Charlotte turned around and saw Grace, “Grace-Kohai! Get everybody you can out of the theater!” Grace looked at her, “That’s impossible! I could barely get all our players out! Yea, this is a small theater party but… I can’t leave you either…“ Charlotte looked at her softly, “Save everybody Grace-Kohai, I beg you. I will defend as long as I can. I can’t promise I will make it out alive, but you must.” Grace had tears in her eyes, “But Mother!!” She cried, the men were shooting down people and a few were coming towards the stage. “Go!!”
Grace took Delilah’s hand and ran off, “Guys! Forget the fire! Come on!” Grace yelled in tears. “What?!” Paris yelled, “We’re leaving?! What about the theater?! This is our home, our prized possession! We can’t let it go so easily!” Grace shook her head, “Just come on, and don’t argue! It’s Mother’s orders!” Delilah was practically being dragged unwillingly. “Paris-Kohai, think about how Grace-Sempai is feeling already! She has to leave her Mother, probably to die! Do you know how hard that is on her?! This is no time to be harsh!” Delilah yelled, Paris, Rose, and Shurika ran after them. Delilah saw the whole stage catching on fire, and she was reminded as Charlotte came through the curtains and ran after them.
Scene 18: The Burning Village
There was screaming as everybody was trying to get out of the burning village safely, fight for their family, or being attacking. Being 4, Delilah wasn’t sure what was going on, but she was scared and about to cry. Her father took her and Chase, her brother, and put them in the closet, “Stay here. You’ll be safe until we can figure out a way to actually get out. Stop crying, it’ll be okay, we don’t want you getting found.” He said gently, turning back he went to the door and it burst open as 3 men came in. “What do you want? What about this village disturbed you so much that you had to burn it down?” He yelled, the men snickered, “That’s none of your business.” One said.
Delilah went to cry out but Chase, 6 years old, covered her mouth. “We gotta be quiet Del…” He shushed her, even though he wanted to cry out too. Blood flew in the air as a man quickly moved with high speed and Silver, her father, fell over with cuts all over him from a knife. “DADDY!!!” Screamed Delilah as her Dad managed to get up. “Didn’t you manage to slit his throat?” A man said and the other smirked, “I want it to be painful and slow. Your turn William, don’t kill him yet.” He smiled evilly. “You won’t get away with this…” Silver coughed blood up. “Aw shut up!” Said one as he kicked him in the stomach, blood went everywhere as a wound opened up and turned out worse.
All three men laughed as he fell on the floor in pain, the same man that kicked him starting hitting and kicking him in all his wounded spots until blood was pouring everywhere. While they was busy with Silver Lily came and got them out of the closet, running out the back door. “He’s almost died of loss of blood, let’s finish it.” One yawned, one took a sword and put it right through his neck and Silver fell over. “DADDY!!!” Delilah screamed again and the men looked at the door. “After them, we can’t let anyone escape damn it!” The first one said angrily.
“Mommy! It’s Daddy! He’s-“ “Sweety, calm down.” Lily said in tears as Chase was riding on her shoulders and she was carrying Delilah. Delilah saw blood hounds either chasing people or eating dead people. They ripped at flesh, cracked bones, blood, skin, and meat flying everywhere. Lily almost tripped and barely caught herself, screaming as she caught herself by putting her leg in wood on fire, burning her leg severely. But she continued running, “Mom…” Chase said sadly. “It’s okay, don’t worry about me. Worry about yourself keep holding on.” Lily said as they got to the end of the Village, Delilah saw Blood Hounds look at them as they exited, bloodthirsty eyes.
Scene 19: The Sacred Forest
Lily went through the snow which covered the Sacred Forest. “Oh!” She cried as she found a tree hole, she put Delilah in it as Delilah cried out for her, reaching her arms out. “Shhhh, shhh.” Lily said, trying to quiet her down. She took Delilah’s hands in hers and kissed her forehead. Then, there was the barking of the blood hounds arriving. Lily pulled a locket off of her neck and put it around Delilah’s. “Keep this and remember us. Delilah, you must live on.” Lily then ran off and put Chase somewhere safe. Delilah watched from her hiding place as Lily came in front of the blood hounds and raised her arms up, “Over here you filthy mutts!” She yelled and ran off. Delilah watched with tears in her eyes as she disappeared, and there was screaming, barking, and blood flying everywhere in the distance.
Scene 20: The Caverns
“I’ll guard the door so you can go on!” She yelled, “You must live on!” Grace led them into the Dressing Room and to the right they went down the steps. Charlotte came up, took keys out and quickly unlocked a door on the floor. “Hurry! Go!” She said, pushing them onward into a little cavern. Delilah looked back as they ran off, Charlotte spread her arms out when the guys came and a mace hit her in the head. Delilah closed her eyes as tears came forth, and started running along with Grace. Men followed them and caught up quite quickly, right up to Shurika who was the last one behind, and was having trouble keeping up. “Shuri!!” Rose screamed when she looked behind seeing the men grabbing Shurika.
“Rose! Come on, it’s too late!” Paris yelled when she saw Rose stop. She grabbed her arm to drag her but Rose stayed put, her other arm reaching out to Shurika. “Shurika!!” She screamed as the men got closer. “Sorry Rose, but it’s better one than two.” Paris said, letting go and running back to Delilah and Grace. A man grabbed Rose and a few others ran after Paris, Delilah, and Grace. Grace ran through a door and without seeing Paris she closed it and locked it. She then ran with Delilah once again, Paris banging on the door screaming for them to open up. “Paris!” Delilah cried. “If I had known she was still back there I would have waited, but once I locked the door it was too late. I’m afraid we have to leave her…” Grace said as she stumbled. They burst into a large cave with a lake like area and path going up in more caverns.
She ran in and there was a loud sound, wood being broken. “They got through the damn door!” Grace said, “Mother said it was unbreakable!” They stopped at a cylinder-shaped glass figure. “It’s smaller than I remember.” Grace said looking it up and down. In the top, connected to the cave, was a big dusty ball. “I hope it still works…” Delilah looked at her funny. “It’s a teleportation device, go on in. I don’t think it can hold both of us. Besides, I have to hold the guys back.” Grace said sadly. “No! You get in if there’s not enough room!” Delilah refused. Voices were heard from the men.
Grace shoved Delilah in and she stumbled, catching herself with a keyboard-like area sticking out the glass. “System Activated. Teleporting to Clover Town in 15 seconds.” A woman, robotic voice said. Delilah turned around and saw Grace holding the door shut. “Stop fooling around and open it!” Delilah screamed. Grace shook her head, “Sorry Delilah, but I was born and raised here, I want to die here too. Besides, it’s too late to make another decision.” She said, putting her hand up on the glass. Delilah put her hand at the same place, as if trying to touch it. The men entered the cavern and a gun pointed at Grace as she turned around to meet them.
“Grace-Sempai watch out!!” Delilah screamed, gunshot and Grace was hit in the shoulder. She turned around and smiled, blood coming down the corner of her mouth. “Delilah, it was nice being your friend. Please, you must live o-“There was another gunshot and she fell over, blood splattering across the glass. Delilah looked at the blood, “GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!!!!!!!!!” She screamed. “Teleporting to Clover town in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Teleporting now.” The glass ball above her came alive with blue electricity dancing wildly in it, there was a bright light and it covered her and the whole glass cylinder. When she opened her eyes she was on the ground, on her hands and knees in a bathroom stall. She ran out and burst out of the bathroom, “Grace?!” She cried out, the people at the restaurant looked at her weirdly. She ignored the stares and ran out, but she was in another town. She was in Clover.
Scene 21: The Clover Town
Delilah had faced the truth by now, Grace and the others were gone. She was wondering the streets, in her maid outfit which was untouched of any kind of damage of what went on down at Dreamy Theaters. Turning to her left she got to a dark area, the light was out and it was kind of dark outside. A white glow appeared, Angel looked at her and shook her head. "Angel! I'm sorry!" Delilah cried, she knew Angel was disappointed. Angel barked steadily and nodded to her, "I'll figure this out!" Delilah said as Angel disappeared. "I will...." She went back in the streets where light was, and looking to her right she saw blonde hair, the clothes, it was that boy who helped kill Petry! Without thinking she walked up to him and punched him, he quickly turned around to face her.
When she went to grab his arm and twist it, he grabbed hers instead and spun behind her pulling her arm back. "Aahhh.." She could barely get anything out as she was in pain, "Didn't I say never mess with me again?" He whispered in her ear.She nodded, "I would suggest taking my advice, now get lost." He says harshly, pushing her back and walking away. She fell to the ground as tears went everywhere, "I'm so weak...." She cried, "I can't portect any of my friends..." Thats when a little girl came up, looking so much like Shiraku she was blown away right away. “Excuse me Miss. But, I’m hungry, and have no food, can you help me?” She asked in a cute yet sad voice, and pitiful puppy eyes. “Yeah come on.” Delilah said as she went to a restaurant.
“What would you like?” She asked as the girl looked at the list. “Anything, just fill my empty tummy please!” She said, Delilah smiled and ordered her a large meal to last throughout the rest of the day and maybe even a midnight snack. “Ooh, chicken nuggets, fries, chocolate milk, apples, and a cheese burger? You’re so kind Miss! Now, I’ll tell you a secret.” She said smiling when they were outisde, Delilah looked at her curiously. “What kind of secret little girl?” She asked, “My names Nina, and my secret is…” She tip-toed up and Delilah bent down so she could whisper it: “You belong in FairyTail.” She giggled and ran off, “Thanks so much!” She called out and ran off with her bag off food.
“FairyTail?” Delilah asked herself. “What’s that? Hm… I’ll go look around, maybe I’ll find out.” She then started to walk around again. A few minutes after walking, a man came up. “Hello.” He said, Delilah nodded as an answer. “Hm, you look so familiar…” He said thinking about it for a minute, then a light bulb appeared and he snapped. “You’re the star of Dreamy Theater! Delilah Fantasia Rose!” he said, Delilah nodded. “Yep, you got it right.” She said as she started to walk away, “Excuse me but I gotta find out what FairyTail is.” He looked at her, “FairyTail? The guild, you mean? Oh, that’s a good place! I was just heading back there now!” She brightened up as he claimed that he went there. “Can you take me?” She bounced up with sparkles in her eyes. He thought about it for a minute before nodding, “Come on, I’ll show you and tell the Guildmaster a good word or two about you.” He then walked away as she followed. When they arrived at a rather dark place guarded by a black, steel gate she grew a little suspicious. “Not so sure about this anymore...” She said backing up.
Scene 22: The Human Zoo
He picked her up and carried her in, the steel gate rattling as it opened for him. She saw people in certain cages and areas, eating, sleeping, looking out sadly, or watching him bring her in. Going to a table he laid her down, she tried to get up but he threw a rope at her and it tied her, making her immobile. "Now, hold still while I put your number on you." He went over to some coals and lit a fire with small pieces of wood. It blazed high and the heat got to her. He then took metal tongs off a smaller table beside her and took numbers made out of metal using it. Putting the number in, it heated up until it got cherry red and he took it out. "This is gonna hurt, a lot. The pain will go away after an hour or so though." He said, putting the heated number on the left side of her neck. There was sizzling sound as she screamed in pain, it was worse than burning your finger on a stove and it lasted for awhile. He took it off and smiled, "Number 103." He said.
He went to an unoccupied area with a wall high up and a railing around it on the wall. Putting her over the fence, he dropped her and she fell on the ground with a loud, Thud! It took a minute as she struggled to get her breath back, but when she did she saw she was in an open dirt area. There was a pond to her left with lilies and small fish swimming in it. Straight ahead was a platform in the ground, which probably rose up if she stood on it and it triggered. To her right was a cave, which was probably her new home. The area was about 20 feet in front of her horizontally and 15 feet straight in front of her.
She went over to the cave and peered inside. It was really small about 10 feet in width, 13 feet in height, and 18 feet in depth, and not to mention it was chilly. She saw a thin, ripped blanket on a pillow with holes in it and feathers sticking out. Her bed, as it was late she went over and covered up. Laying her head on the pillow, it was basically just the ground since most of the feathers were out of it. She slept, waking up many times in the night because she was cold or because of nightmares. When it was morning, there was a loud ringing noise, like a gong being hit. She rose up and saw the man.
“Ready? Now, you’re gonna act little Star. Make people love you alright, give me good views!” He said, before she could argue and tell him she couldn’t randomly do a play out of thin air he left. She heard the rattling of the gates and people ran in. A few people immediately went to her cage, looking at a sign as if they were reading about a new species they looked at her as if waiting. She gulped and went to the platform, there was a loud noise like somebody was banging on metal with a hammer before it sounded like an elevator going up. When it was as high as it would go, about 8 feet high, she looked around.
She decided she would start the play over, the one they were doing at Dreamy Theater’s before they was interrupted. She did all the parts by herself, it was quite hard but they seemed entertained. The story was basically a selfish princess and a nice princess, their kingdom was dying. They were going to do something about it, but when they did the villagers blamed the princesses and started a rebellion. The maid ended up saving them by helping the kingdom with the help of a little girl.
The people multiplied as she progressed through it. When she had finished they clapped and the gong sounded again as the people left. The platform went down with another hammer on metal banging sound then elevator going down. The man came back, “I am Titan, I want you to know. This is your new home, get used to it. Keep doing plays like that and you’ll be fine. Now, here’s your meal.” He threw a bag of food down. It was pork chops in a sealed container, along with some green beans and mashed potatoes in separate containers. She ate it gladly; it wasn’t that bad if despite the toughness of the meat and tasteless beans and to mushy potatoes. Titan came back to wish her good night and she took that moment to ask for paper and pencil.
“I can’t just think of plays automatically, I’m not that good even if I am the main star. I’m gonna have to plan it ahead of time for it to be good. The only reason the last one was good was because I memorized it from another play I did. I would like paper and pencil, and something to write on, so I can actually start.” He sighed and got what she needed. Going over and picking it up she thanked him, “I’ll need some more each night if you wish for me to do good. Also, you need to make me clothes.” He smiled as she explained the clothes and left, she then started with her play. She knew it wasn’t going to be that good, Rose had tried to teach her how to write a play but it never worked out.
She went by each step Rose taught her, and by 6:00 she was done. She stayed up till 7:00 memorizing it, and was woken up by 9:00 in the morning. It took her a few minutes to get awake, as she wasn’t used to staying up most of the night. When she was awake she saw clothes, going deep in the cave she changed and then got on the platform as soon as she got back and saw people peering down at her. The platform raised and she began, making it more of a musical then the last. Almost everybody that had entered the gates came once they heard her sing the first song. When she was finished with the play, which was about a little girl who was born in a rich family but had no friends. As the play carried on, it showed rich snobby kids who she was supposed to be friends with, and instead made friends with a homeless girl. The girl and her got close, and she ended it where the family found out and she pleaded to them for her to keep her best friend. Finally, they allowed it, and she ended up living with the family as they lived happily ever after.
The loud cheering and clapping and whistling echoed around the Zoo, and there was a gong and they left. Getting more paper and a sharper pencil she wrote again. Repeating this daily life for about 6 months, acting was the best part of it all. She was happy she could at least perform for people, but was sad that she was locked up and forced to. Suddenly one day she woke up with a little boy looking at her. He said he was supposed to work with her, she was happy she had a partner. She showed him the play and helped him memorize all the boy parts. They both got on the platform when the people came, and played all of it out. The boy, Knox, was pretty good. Need a few tweaks here and there, but was good.
They acted for a long time, until Delilah was 16 Knox wanted to make the play. She allowed him and he made it. There were only 2 characters, a girl and a boy. It was about a boy who was put on the streets and a little girl who belonged to a rich lady who owned a theater found him. She helped him, and they ended up falling in love, but one day the girl was shot and killed. He had to leave, for he was blamed by the rich lady for killing her. Then, the last thing it showed was him in a cage and dying in it, clutching his heart as he died. Delilah didn’t get the meaning of it, and they played it out. Later that day, Titan came and looked very angry.
“Who wrote the play you did today.” He said, trying to say it calmly. Delilah, who liked Knox, knew he was about to get in trouble if he told Titan. So she went to say it was her fault when Knox stood in front of her, “It was me Titan. I wrote the play, you found out the meaning I’m guessing?” He asked as Titan nodded before it went quiet. Then, Titan randomly threw a rope which wrapped around Knox’s throat. He fell over struggling to breathe, Delilah running over to him trying to get it off, but he went limp a few seconds after she had come to him. “I’ll pick up his body tomorrow; you will go back to playing by yourself. Speak of this to no one. You better make the best play out of all of them or you’ll die too!”
Delilah buried her head in Knox’s chest as she cried, “Oh Knox…” She choked on tears, “Oh Knox…” She then looked at the play they wrote together and frowned. “Titan… I won’t work for you anymore… I’mma gets outta here now…” She said as she went over and crumpled the paper up. She got new paper and started writing, “I’ll write the best of all of them alright.” She grinned evilly. When she was done she kissed the paper, “Master piece!” She said, memorized it quickly and went to bed. The next morning she stayed on the ground and looked at all of them. They all seemed to be waiting for her performance; it would be the best one yet.. She would rather use her cage surroundings this time. She was dressed in wolf fur, with wolf ears and a tail, playing as a wolf.
Going to the edge of her cage, she laid down, curled up like a wolf before perking up. She made a bird out of her hands hop over, and she leaned down to it. “What do you want pesky bird? Leave a lone wolf like me alone, or do you have a death wish? You would make some good grub.” Growling, the bird chirped, “Eat me if you wish. I have no strength to fly, having no food in my tummy. Do you know what it’s like to have no food in your tummy?” Delilah perked up and disappeared in her cave, coming back she had a fruit in her mouth. Dropping it in front of the bird, she made the bird looking like she was eating it. “Oh thank you kind Ma’am! Now, I shall tell you a secret.” The bird hopped closer to Delilah, “You belong to Howling Moon!” The bird then flew off and she got up and started making her way around.
When she got to the wall that the audience looked at her from, she got up on two legs and growled like a bear as she walked up. “Oh, you seem like a lonely wolf… you see familiar…” Delilah seemed lost in thought, “Oh! You used to be in the best pack there is known, Nightly Moon! You got disbanded didn’t you?” Delilah got on two feet and rolled her eyes, “Excuse me, I got to find my way to Howling Moon, whatever and wherever that is.” She said bored-like, getting up on two legs she pretended to go down to meet eye-level with the wolf. “Howling Moon is where you’re headed huh! You mean the Sacred Wolf Pack? Ohh, so you found out that it’s not just FairyTail’s I see! You found out they really exist? I have a good bond with the Leader, I could take you there if you wish. And I might even tell him a good few things about you.” Delilah moved to the wolf’s position and looked towards the bear.
“Really, you would do that?” She made the bear nod and walk away, and then she pretended to get to a Zoo. Making the rattling noise of a gate, the bear picked the wolf up and threw her down in a cage. She rolled for a second before getting up. “Stay down there! Howl at the moon and do your wolves stuff to show how you actually survive to people.” She then went over to the cave and laid down. She pretended it was the next morning and looked up at the people. Making a whining noise, she got up on the platform and it rose up. As the wolf, she acted as if she was banned from a pack by another wolf running her off as he almost attacked her. Finding a home, in a cave, she ran off. She pretended to be marking trees with her claws at first as if trying to remember her way back to a new home.
Then she looked to the right and started to run, and acted out as she caught a deer. She tore it open and started eating it, and then went over to pretend she got water from a lake. She suddenly perked up and sniffed the air and growled as she turned around to see an out casted wolf she pretended to be for just a second as she pretended for it to be coming at the main wolf. She then went back to her wolf, and attacked the other one. She rolled around in circles and then pinned it down as she pretended to rip its neck off. Then she pretended to eat it, licking her lips she ran off. She punched the platform and it rang out as if pretending it was the gong. Jumping off the platform almost falling to the ground and not on all fours, the platform raised down as soon as she got off.
Going to her cave she looked up and went in that low voice as the bear, “Good job!” and she pretended to run over there and eat what she had received. She howled for 4 seconds before she pretended to sleep in the cave, raising up she wrote “6 months later” in the dirt for the people to read. Then she pretended to be a puppy looking at her, going back to her wolf position she jumped up and cocked her head. “I’m supposed to work together with you!” He barked and Delilah nodded as the wolf’s answer. They got on the platform and she pretended to play both of them as they were rough housing. Pretending she was showing him the ways of the wolf, she got him food and regurgitated.
He ate it then looked up, “I think I’m big enough to try and catch my own!” He said licking his lips, and Delilah pretended to show him how to catch, showed him baby bird eggs, berry bushes, rabbit holes, etc. Finally, she made a banging on the platform, pretended to grab the puppy, and jumped down most likely bruising her knee. She then looked up at the moon and howled, and then she made the cute howling of the puppy. Then they went to bed, erasing 6 months later she put “3 months later”, and made the puppy come up. “Can I make my own this time? Just follow my lead! You be the girl puppy, and the leader of the wolves.” She pretended to whispered in wolf’s ear and she nodded as the wolf’s agreement. Going to the platform, the puppy walked around sadly and lonely, whining he went to a trashcan and found a bone with a little meat.
Taking it out a big dog came and bullied him, taking it from him. He soon met a girl puppy not long after that, and she brought him to her pack. He stayed there, and was family, and it showed him playing with the puppy and them two falling in love. But then Delilah banged on the Platform and fell over, as if shot. Being the puppy she made him sniff her and cry then pretended to be the wolf pack leader. “You killed my daughter? Shoo! Get outta here!” The puppy shook his head, “No! It was-“ “I don’t want to hear any excuses, GO! You are banned from MoonLight!” The puppy ran off and Delilah became a bear, “I saw everything, I can take you to Howling Moonlight. The Sacred Wolf Pack, they’ll treat you better. Come on.” She then pretended they went into the rattling gate and he threw him down in the area. Then they pretended to do a time-skip and she pretended the puppy laid there and took his last breath.
Then Delilah banged the platform, and jumped down with the puppy. They howled and played for a while before the bear came, “Who made that play?” He asked, Delilah went to step up as the older wolf but then became the little puppy and bounced up, “It was I!” he claimed, Delilah made a gunshot sounded by clapping her hands this time and made the puppy fall over. As the big wolf she ran over to the puppy and sniffed him, knowing he was dead she picked him up and put him farther in the cave. “You will go back to your single act!” The bear yelled and the wolf nodded. Finally, she pretended to go to bed. The audience was quiet and she got up and threw her arms out, “I hope you liked it! Oh, and please keep in mind about the play, I hope you remember it forever!” She smiled; the people murmured and then ran off. “Did they get it?” Delilah asked herself; “Please tell me they got it…”
The people went to Titan and complained, “How could you do that to this poor girl!” “Do you do that to all these people?” “You treat them like animals, locking them up and making them do what you want!” “That’s cruel, you should be locked up!” “Let her go right now!” They took out weapons when he refused and he finally threw the keys down and some rope, walking away angrily. They pulled Delilah up with the rope, she had also brought her maid outfit that she had kept with her other outfits in the back, and they tried to take her out. But she instead ran back in, the people following her, and unlocked all the other prisoners. As they ran to get out, there were gunshots as they were shot down one-by-one. The prisoners and the people both ended up dying. Delilah and a woman made it pass the closing gate, and she looked at Delilah. “Sorry we were the only ones… So FairyTail, you want to go right? I can take you. It’s in Magnolia, I’ve seen it before!” She said, trying to help.
“I deny your offer. I shall go on my own, thank you anyways though.” Delilah said as she ran off in a burst of speed before the woman could argue. “I’m gonna find FairyTail. If it’s the last damn thing I do.” Delilah said to herself as she exited Clover. “I promise.” She just hoped the little bird was right, that she belonged there. If anything, she would like to work there, especially as a maid in the costume Rose had made especially for her. “If anything a Maid…” She whispered. “I’m not sure if I could end up being a wizard really… So a Maid would work… But will they accept me? I guess I'll learn a few magic spells... but a Maid would be nice...”
Basically What Happened
When Delilah was small (4) her Father, Silver, was brutally murdered in front of her, protecting Delilah and her mother. Lily, her mother, grabbed her up and her brother as well, very quickly and carried them away, knowing there was no hope and she had to get away. As she was running, Delilah saw her village on fire and people fighting, more people on the ground covered in blood as blood hounds dug in and ate them, ripping flesh and snapping bones. The heat hurt Delilah and Lily became quite exhausted. Lily almost tripped at one point, and stepped on something on fire, injuring her leg. But she kept going for Delilah. Running out of the village, blood hounds looked up from their meal to watch her.
Arriving at a forest, the sacred forest that was supposed to protect people, she put Delilah in a tree hole and calmed her down. Lily shushed her before hearing barking from the hounds. Lily told her she had to live on, took a locket off her neck and onto Delilah’s, hid her brother in an unknown area, and left. Delilah watched as her mother lead the blood hounds away from her and the tree, then a few minutes later heard screaming, barking and howling and worst of all blood being thrown everywhere in the distance. The forest was filled with noise, men flashed by through the snow with a torch lit before everything went quiet.
Delilah was scared, and was crying. After a while, she had almost cried herself to sleep when she heard something. She knew it wasn't the men and poked her head out. A wolf had also jumped up on the tree to peer inside at the same time. Their heads touched, the wolf’s head was so soft, it comforted Delilah. Instead of attacking, the wolf leaped back with great flexibility and then started walking away. Delilah jumped out, with much struggle, to follow but she growled at her. Delilah backed away with tears, and sensing sadness the wolf brushed up against Delilah trying to comfort her, the white wolf was so soft, brilliant, and angel like.
Then the blood hounds announced their returning with fierce barking. Delilah jumped on the wolf's back as it fled, almost leaving without her not intending to bring her along. When they got away the wolf pushed her off roughly and glared at her, Delilah began to cry and the wolf’s glare became a soft look, and the wolf seemed to feel bad for Delilah. She then raised her, like a cub, teaching her about fighting and living in the forest. Delilah named her Angel, and they became close.
One day, hunters came, age (9), and saw Angel and Delilah. One wanted Delilah and one wanted Angel, when one went after Delilah Angel jumped in front and growled, nodding behind her. Delilah knew Angel wanted her to run, hesitated until Angel looked back and glared at her, ears down she growled. Delilah stayed frozen in place and Angel finally started towards Delilah, as if going to attack her. Delilah looked at her with shock, before shaking her head with a face that said “I was wrong about you.” and ran off. Angel’s face turned sad, but Delilah didn’t see it, and Angel went back to dealing with the hunters.
Not really far off, Delilah heard a gunshot, looking back tears flowed. She saw a torch and people and ran, but stepped in a trap and it latched on her foot. She screamed in pain and fell over; trying to get it off the hunter’s finally caught up to her and took her. After toying with her for a bit (Both torturing her in many different ways), by 10 years old, they got bored of her and put her up for auction. A man thought she was pretty, and bought her for 100,000 Jewels. He had his way with her, locking her up in a room (much like a jail cell) and coming in to do it.
She was locked up in there all the time, he would bring her little and food that was left-overs of his. After a while, he decided he wanted money, so he sold her to random men. They came to the house and had their way with her too. One day, age 11, a woman came by. She had heard about this ‘fun’ men had been talking about. After finding out what had been happening to her, she felt really bad for her and demanded the man hand her over. The man said he would for a price, so she ended up paying 1,000,000 Jewels just for her.
Delilah went with her, and London (the woman) took her home. Delilah became happy there, but London’s daughter, Victoria, was awful mean to Delilah. She picked on her, and tried to get rid of her in many ways, whether it was threatening to hurt her or pretending to go play with her outside and try to leave her on her own. Delilah didn’t feel at home with this, but afraid to go anywhere else she stayed. At age 12, she ended up killing Victoria in self-defense, for Victoria had randomly come at her with a knife. After getting cut and blood spilling out, Delilah had gone crazy, she was scared and that’s how it ended. Before going unconscious she saw a white glow, and when she woke up she was in a box in the streets.
London had abandoned her, she had found. When she crawled out of the box she came face to face with a white ghost-like wolf. She immediately recognized it as Angel. Angel howled and disappeared, Delilah trying to grab the air in panic. After thinking she had seen things she got up and walked around the streets. Trying to find her way around, she came across a poor animal in a cage in front of someone’s house, hanging off a lamp post. She was looking at it sadly, when the owner came out and tried to shoo her away. She stayed put, insisting that she wanted whatever the animal was. They said she couldn’t have it and took out a knife coming towards her.
Standing her ground, he went to attack but she dodged, him cutting the rope off the lamp which the cage dangled from. The cage fell; she leaped forward and caught it, running away as fast as she could. Making friends with sugar glider, she named it Petry and she healed it from its injuries. Petry helped her out; he had the ability to read minds for he had been experiments on for a long time. She was a homeless person for a while, but Petry helped her through everything. He got food and Jewels for her in ways that Delilah didn’t know; she didn’t have to do anything. She had gone with him one day, still age 12, and he jumped on someone’s shoulder. The person didn’t notice, but a white ferret came out of nowhere and attacked Petry. Petry stood no chance and Delilah tried to help but the person threw her back.
Petry died in the battle with the mean ferret, and she was left on her own. Delilah wondered the place hopelessly, hungry and lonely. She was ready to die, and was about to in an alley when a white ghost-like wolf appeared. Angel looked down at her and nodded, Delilah got up. Angel then started walking away, Delilah followed. People backed away from her with Angel by her side. One dared to come up, and Angel growled dangerously at him before he ran off. She led Delilah to a huge building, a theater. She disappeared at the front and Delilah went in. A girl a year older than her ran up and knocked into her, and they both fell to the ground.
The girl, Grace, was mad at first but then saw her. She insisted that she show Delilah around, and Delilah got to meet the woman who ran the theater. Charlotte, the women, sensed something sad about Delilah and decided to take her in. Marie, who was the star at the time, taught her how to sing. Charlotte was nice, and taught her all about the theater, and Delilah soon entered plays of her own. Marie was killed by an Assassin and died in Delilah’s arms, telling her to chase her dream as a Star, and to live on. Marie always told Delilah to sing her feelings out, and so Delilah often sings to people instead of talking, her songs getting straight to the point usually. With the help of Grace, Delilah became a great singer and actor. She even became the star of the show, being the best actor there before long. She was happy at last. Grace was Charlotte’s daughter.
Delilah stayed at the theater with Charlotte until she was 15. That’s when men came and put the place on fire, murdering everyone in the theater. Charlotte went to try and stop the men while Grace tried to get everyone to safety. Delilah was just dragged by Grace, she wasn’t sure what all was going on and was kind of in a state of shock. Charlotte faced the men bravely, but she was killed easily, as soon as the doors opened she was a goner. Delilah saw the mace hit her in the head and cried as she finally ran with Grace. But the men followed all of them, and one by one took the players out. Grace and Delilah were the ones that got to the underground chambers safely. Locking the door Grace seemed sad; she rushed Delilah through the caverns.
When they got into the deepest part, Grace revealed a very small section of glass that one person could fit in and close. Grace told her it would teleport Delilah out, and only Delilah. Delilah refused and they argued, but then voices came and Grace quickly pushed Delilah in. Delilah grabbed the computer inside so she wouldn’t fall completely, and a voice told her she was going to be teleported to Clover in 15 seconds. Delilah spun around and saw Delilah looking back at the men rushing in. Grace looked back at Delilah said it’d be alright, and it was too late to change the decision. Delilah screamed for her as Grace was shot in the shoulder. Grace looked at her and said “You must live on” with a smile. Blood splattered everywhere on the glass as she screamed Grace’s name.
Then she fell over as she was warped out of the Theater and into a random bathroom stall in Clover. Rushing out she ran around Clover aimlessly. When she had run out of breath and was exhausted from the run, Angel appeared in front of her. Angel shook her head as she turned away, Delilah could tell Angel was disappointed. Angel made a stern barking noise and faded. Delilah guessed Angel wanted her to find out what to do this time. She gathered information from people around town, and met up with a blonde haired boy, the one with the ferret.
She saw the ferret and ran up to him, punching the boy in the face. He quickly turning around she went to grab his arm to twist but he grabbed hers and spun around to her back. He held her arm and whispered in her ear to leave him alone. Tears came forth, and he let go and walked away. Falling to the ground, a 6 year old girl came up to her and smiled. She asked for some food, and Delilah said she had none, the girl looked sad but Delilah pulled Jewels out of her pocket and got up. The girl followed as she went to a restaurant. Buying her a huge plate of food, the girl thanked her, kissed Delilah’s forehead and to repay her for her kindness she said FairyTail was the place she had to go, and ran off.
Hearing about FairyTail, she was intrigued, she went on her way to FairyTail. She thought maybe this was it, the girl seemed truthful. She had no idea where this FairyTail was though, so she had to wonder around everywhere. A man came up to her, recognizing her as the main star of the theater, he asked where she was going. She told him to FairyTail, he smiled and told her he could get her to FairyTail. Delilah nodded happily, not realizing the lie he had told her. He led her to a rather darkish place, as he opened a iron gate and went in she stopped.
Delilah wasn’t that sure now, and backed up. He picked her up and took her in, the gate closing behind them. The man then went through. There were cages, and people were in it. Some were sleeping, some were standing at the bars, and some were eating animal food. She struggled to get out of his hands, but he was too strong. He went to a cage, one of the big ones which you peer down in. It was a big area and a small cave in the corner. He then dropped her down roughly. She landed with a thud and got up trying to get her breath back. When she had gotten it she stood up and looked around.
It was dirt, land-scape that spread out about 20 feet in front of her horizontally, and 15 feet going straight in front of her. She looked at the cave; it was supposed to be her home apparently. Going in, it was really small about 10 feet in width, 13 feet in height, and 18 feet in depth, and not to mention it was chilly. There was a dirty blanket with rips in it, and a pillow with holes and feathers coming out. There was no bed; she was not going to be comfortable. Delilah saw so light, and she knew she was going to be sleeping in the dark. Looking outside she saw it getting late and covered up. The pillow was hard as it was mostly ground with most the feathers gone.
She awoke to a loud noise, sounding like a gong ringing. She sat up and looked around, seeing clothes in front of her she found they were dress up clothes. Somewhat like the ones at the theaters. So, she was supposed to play, but for what, for who? She put the clothes on, but found no script to go by. She looked everywhere, if she was going to be here she must do it right until she got out. It was a thing; she must get her acting right. The man came over and smiled, saying she was beautiful. She asked for the script and he said just do whatever. She had to plan, she couldn’t just think in thin air! But she heard the rattling of the gates opening, peering up she saw people surrounded others cages. She hid in her cave as she saw a few people come up, looking at a sign they seem interested in what was in there. She gulped and stepped out, starting to do her play. She sang through it and acted through it, it was hard doing it by herself though, but she did it. Afternoon came, and the people left. She slumped down and got in her regular clothes, the man came and smiled. He congratulated her for the audience that came as she acted, and she asked for some paper and pencil. He gave her some so she could plan in out instead, she felt like her last one was a failure.
He threw the paper and pencil down and told her if she needed more ask each night he came to check on her. She then started to write her own play out, she wasn’t used to being the one to write it out so she wasn’t sure if it would be good. At 5:00 in the morning, she was done, and went to sleep. She was awoken at 8:00, not used to getting little sleep it took her awhile to wake up. She was woken up right when the people came, and she did her play she had memorized once she wrote it. They all cheered at the end, and when they left she got a big meal as a present, and more paper and a sharper pencil.
She did this for 6 months before she woke up with a boy in the cave with her. He was scared, and she greeted him. They talked and she showed him the play they had to do together. He didn’t want to at first, but she said he had to or they both wouldn’t get food. He agreed, and when the people came they did it. The boy, Knox, wasn’t half bad. They got a good meal they shared together, Delilah didn’t eat as much as Knox so he had more. Then Delilah wrote another play. Each day they did it together, and when she reached 15 Knox wanted to try and make a play. Delilah agreed.
He wrote it and they did it together. However, that night the man (whose name they found out was Titan) came by, looking quite angry. He asked who wrote that play, Delilah knew they was in trouble and went to stand up to protect Knox, who she had fallen in love with by now. But Knox saw this and stepped in front of her, saying he did it. Titan randomly through a rope and it latched onto Knox’s throat. Delilah ran over to him, trying to get it off. He struggled for a minute before going limp, Delilah crying out for him. Titan told her he would pick the body up tomorrow, and told her she would die to if she didn’t write the play that bested all before. She knew she had to get out, but she didn’t know how.
She thought as she wrote the play, and when she was done she grinned evilly. She knew what she had to do. The next day, the man gave her the clothes she asked for and the people came to watch. It was easily 70 people, maybe 100. She smiled as she played out the play, they gasped at some parts and when the play was over they were quite mad. They ran to Titan and demanded they let Delilah go, Titan had no idea how they figured out and refused at first. But they said they would attack him and burn the place down taking all of the prisoners with them if he didn’t, bringing out knives and matches. He went to the cage and glared at Delilah, putting a rope down she climbed up it and the people tried to lead her out. But she wanted the other prisoners, plus this place to be shut down.
After refusing the people surrounded Titan, and he threw the key of the cages and ropes for the stages at Delilah. She got them all out and they was on their way out when gunshots were heard, they looked back at saw the man with a gun. Delilah yelled for them to run, as each of them got shot down. It was only her and a woman that survived and got out, even the people had gotten shot down. The woman offered to take her in, but she declined and stated she was off to FairyTail. She said she could show her to FairyTail, but declined again and walked off.
So she is making her way to FairyTail.[/ul][/div]
